- Nike Mercurial Vapor 15 retro limited edition football boots play test - in today's video, JayMike takes a closer look at the brand new limited edition Nike Mercurial Vapor 15, which is an homage to the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial from 2001. Back then, the Air Zoom Mercurial was the first Nike Mercurial football boots to feature a Nike Zoom Air unit in the sole, and since Zoom Air is now back in the Mercurial football boots, it's a fitting time to make a tribute like that. Thus, Nike have brought back the design of the original boots with the Alpha Project dots, the iconic toe tab and the copper colourway - which was of course also on the famous Nike Match Mercurial R9 which Ronaldo wore in 2001.

These are just a good throwback colorways to one of the most iconic and ahead of it’s time boots. If Nike are gonna keep doing their Future DNA designs maybe do one on the legend 9 with possibly the white/red air or the white/gold legends

These cleats have a very nice looking color scheme and the foot bed feels amazing but the upper is so thin and slippery. If Nike can just use the Tiempo upper on the air zoom with this color scheme, it would be the perfect cleat.
this is one of the best looking boots you can get right now (in my opinion) and i think they did decently well with catching the old look

@@_rice8 how they fit broo? Im a vapor guy since my feet are quite narrow but i use to love all the old hypervenoms and never had a problem, i feel like the past phantoms are bulkier though. I hope the new ones would be narrower.
@@proctaa jay explained the fit pretty well, they fit a bit more narrow than the Vapor 15s and the heal feels nice and snug so there is no heal slippage. The sock could be a problem if you are looking for a overall snug boot because it feels a little cheap, I had no problems with it though. Once you break it in the forefoot material fits really well on your foot. Hope this helps 👍

It’s definitely cool looking especially with the darker colour, but a 1-1 remake would have been way cooler and a better idea than just this colour remake.
Nike CTR360 Maestri Elite II Red/White/Black should be the next "retro" boot Nike pays homage to.
