She actually is bound. You just can't see the strings. I will probably bind the next one with the standard three holes and use some wax thread. Glad you like Mildred!

Oh my goodness!!!!! A week with no power that's insane. I am happy you and yours are OK after the 🌪. I didn't lose a ring. I had to take it off because my fingers were swelling up and my engagement ring got too tight.
