Thank you, you are so special to me. I will be 80 years old in March I just realized that I have no family members left. I will be all by myself this Christmas for the first time in my life I will be all by myself. Bu, you are my Christmas this year. I am so thrilled for you and Alex finding your beautiful home. Bless you my dear and Merry Christmas to all of you. Remember there is an old 80 -year lady that loves all of you.
Two hints from a mother who raised 5 kids: #1 - to save time, I told my family they were not allowed to dump dirty dishes in or near the sink without first rinsing off the food on them (I have a brush there always), and #2 - I always fold clothes as I pull them out of the dryer, even if I don't sort them. It takes slightly longer, but you get really fast at it. Maybe these won't work for you, but you are so busy that I want to help you somehow!

I was watching HGTV the other day and I was like, They should make kitchens with 2 dishwashers or one very large dishwasher. They were showing huge kitchens with 2 islands, tons of cabinets, 2 sinks, double ovens, but they all just had 1 dishwasher. I think double dishwashers should be a thing. 😆 🤣

The baby wakes up to nurse just around the time you upload every morning -- I've never been so excited to be woken up at 3am!
Just a teeny tip. If I don’t get my dishes done before I go to bed or have a lot of people over, I bought a small plastic tub/container and I feel it with hot water and lots of suds. Sometimes I let them wait all night and then put them in the dishwasher the next day. My friend pulled her tub/she does the same thing I do/into the laundry room and shut the door until the next day. That way the mess is hidden and the next morning all the dishes have the crud all resolved off and I pop them into the dishwasher!
I don’t know if you’re like me, but sometimes I’m too doggone tired at night and I also hate a messy kitchen in the morning. Hope this could work for you.😁

The Holiday. I watch it every year at Christmas and sometimes in summer. There are so many holiday movies on so many channels nowadays that it’s so hard to choose. I usually pick a movie for the actors.
As for that table cloth, see if you have a cleaner or laundry that will do it for you. You might not want to spend the money but in the long run you’ll thank yourself.
I actually really liked “love hard” the vampire diaries girl one. My mom watches everything because I hate the options and normally being very disappointed! She tells me the ones I’ll like! I think you’d like it too next time you have a minute for yourself.
I highly recommend Lovehard as a Christmas rom com! Very cute! It’s not overly Christmas but it’s a good storyline.
Princess switch 1,2, and 3 are good too.. I think it would be good to watch with your kiddos if any of them love cuties rom com.
I love the hallmark ones but I really feel like some of the Netflix ones I have watched have been better the last few years. My opinion though! 💕

We draw names every year to keep it affordable and simple. Best decision we ever made and the kids have fun “keeping secrets” and playing the Santa game. 🥰 I know we still get gifts from our family members who like to do that but they understand we’d rather spend our money on hanging out with them or them giving us their time (like for babysitting…😉) and there’s no icky feelings about it. 🎅🏻

I enjoy watching you because your decor -or lack of- is real and we can see you are authentic and not Pinterest worthy and that you forget stuff and lose things and that is how real life is! It’s how we are too!
This year I went for minimalist Christmas because my list kept growing and tbh most of the presents may not even get used? They’ll end in a closet somewhere...so no Christmas presents except for a couple of friends and two nieces. It’s sooo relaxing and will save me a ton of money. 💯 recommend
For a "Gift Bag" find a cheap pillowcase (Christmas or otherwise) Poke 2 holes in the wideband at the edge... and run a ribbon through it (around the top) Instant Gift Bag :)
And reuseable!! King Pillowcase fits big things or one really big thing :)

Oh my goodness, all the time with movies! We homeschool both kids and have a special needs daughter, we are caregivers to her and our 8 year old is always around. The cheesy Christmas movies that I love are not always appropriate, so I have to wait for my youngest to go play or go outside to watch them. And it takes us FOREVER to find a movie sometimes, then we basically just say “well we have a movie for tomorrow, because it is too late to start it tonight”

Not sure what gifts you buy for your family. But we are in Virginia and my inlaws live in new jersey so what we do is for those that can, we ask that they make an amazon wishlist and we order straght from there to their houses. And we do the same for them and then we don't have to worry about shipping except for the things that are super special that we find in our travels that we want to send.

We had to get a new tree, to our surprise we put the 3 pieces together, all branches fell into place no fluffing needed. You may be surprised when you unbox that new tree they have improved so much in the 6 yrs since we last bought one.

Enjoy life and schar’s are some of our fav gf items. The holidays are the hardest for us allergy unfriendly people. We never assume there will be gf food but we are so grateful when people go to the extra effort- it means so much. I usually end up bringing a bunch of random stuff just in case unless a few other allergy unfriendly people come then I know there are a few options which is amazing.
My grandma used to make those candy cane twist cookies and she put peppermint extract in the dough. So good!
