I had many favorites as a kid. Growing up the early 2000s, my first iPod, I had KoL on repeat to help me sleep. I think they’re so much a part of the reason I sing and play in the way that I do. Thank you guys for still making great music and being authentic. Wouldn’t be the same without you. 🖤🫶

pedro6720 yes it’s new but it’s taken them since 2009 to get it out go look at the article I posted under Nathan‘s Twitter. In the article it’s on Rolling Stones magazine and they talk about Caleb writing a song during sound check. And they mention him saying the first few words of this song

As a Beatles person - I could quite easily listen to KOL and The Killers in my remaining days. Both are equally - long standing - true - “hall of famer’s” - I couldn’t have been prouder than hear the Killer’s cover one of my KOLS favourites The bucket - it topped off my love for both bands.

What I love about this band is the ambiguity, mystery, and surprises that they have done. My true love and the solidification of the Kings being my favorite modern band has been rooted in the fore mentioned.
I’ll always remember the night I discovered Talihina Sky. I had been listing to them one night in my car, and I was finishing Youth and Young Manhood. Holy Roller Novocaine had ended and I was just sitting there for about 4 minutes, lost in my thoughts with the issues of my life at that time, then all of a sudden, loud as hell, Talihina Sky started blasting at the 8:00 mark of the track. I had never known that track ran for a total time of 12:30 or something, and when I heard the song the first time ever, it was a feeling like no other. That songs lyrics spoke my soul and I had the song on repeat for weeks. I had finally gotten to see the band perform Talihina Sky at the Hollywood Bowl in 2017 and I can honestly say I got to scratch off a bucket list item. Now with this song I have a new bucket list item. To see this song performed live.
