- It's the time of year to plant new seeds, and that's what I'm doing. But I needed markers for my plant babies. Wood, plastic, and painted markers don't fare well in the intense Phoenix climate. So when I saw that people were making plant markers out of old silverware, I knew I had to try it!
...but things didn't turn out quite the way I envisioned. I think I'm going to have to try this again sometime.
Do you have a garden? If so, what do you use to label your plants? Let me know if you've ever tried making these, and any tips you might have.
Goodness knows I need the help! LOL

I really liked this project. I thought about doing this too so I appreciate knowing through your experience that it is harder than it looks. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like a fun project. I would probably suggest trying to tape or clap your utensil on a cutting board/larger pieces of scrap wood and stamping out the letters that way. It’s work a shot.
Oooh great idea! Thanks!
I liked that you guys tried this together! Looks like it was really difficult for sure though.
It sure was lol
I'm totally trying this.
And I bet you’ll do a much better job than I did 😆
Love your humor in the vids😂 super cool idea, so hopefully there is some tips and tricks for this to be easier/more visible!!
Ha ha thanks! I don’t want to accept defeat. I have to find another way that doesn’t involve spending $300+ on a stamp machine😀
What a great idea!😊👍
Thanks! It was a fun project. Now if I could only get the letters to stamp harder, they’d be easier to read…🤔
