Ok . Erica , I never have a problem with my mother petitioning comer to the USA. Only I did send the residential petition for her . Within 2 years she came over in my new country USA. I did it right after I became American citizen. Your mother should have baptismal certificate I. Municipal. To obtain all documentation is in here municipal building. Only she needs to do is asked them she needs it. Let her send you the copy of her baptismal and birth certificates. Then you include that to your petition to your migration in Korea. Then Korean government will forward that to Manila immigration. Then from Manila your parents should receive a phone call or letter notification. Then your job is wait for your mother finalized. But again maybe Korean are different than USA.

My mom's name was also incorrect on her birth certificate, so she had to go in the record's section of the municipality where her certificate was registered. She filed for correction of clerical errors in birth certificate, specifically, incorrect spelling of name. The requirements she brought along with her are as follow: birth certificate of her children (proof that she's been using the supposed correct name), copy of her birth certificate to be corrected, cedula, and payment for the filing. It might vary per municipality but it is better to call the municipality where your mom is registered, Ate Erica. From what I've understood with the process, obtaining elementary school records or any school record is not necessary. You just have to communicate with the record section of the municipality where you are registered if you have clerical errors with any of your documents. Oh, after filing for the correction, my mom waited 5 months to follow up (accdg to the office, the process takes time talaga) so make sure to get a contact number where you can follow up. Then, once confirmed that the birth certificate is corrected, she went back to the municipality to get a certificate stating that her name is corrected (I think this is not necessary, my mom just wanted assurance). After confirmation, to have a copy of the updated PSA, she just needs to go to any PSA office and request for it personally since the corrected PSA birth cert cannot be requested online. I hope this helps. <3

Jio's main dream is to be a footballer representing either the Korean National Team in the World Cup or for the Azkals in SEA Games. 😊

Just want to share my mother don't have birth certificate because they live far in the city.they live from mountains ... But I managed to register her... As late registered at PSA PHILIPPINES STATICS AUTHORITY ..that time im lucky no attachment ask for me...for now. Just follow what other requirements to be attached... Late registration is the answer to those don't have birth certificates ❤❤❤

Erica na experience ko yan when I apply going to Canada first get a copy of your mother's birth certificate in their municipal where she was registered next get baptismal certificate next is where she study elementary from grade one to grabe six she will get a record if there is difference in her name you have to go to the lawyer for the affidavit change of name or to correct the name of your mom . In my birthcerf. My name is Veronica my baptismal is Victoria and may elementary record is Marive then may high sch to college was Ma Veronica so I just got to all the records and give it to the lawyer for affidavit 😢😢

Hi Erica, I worked in the Local City Civil Registry before(when I was still single). I suggest that you go to the Office itself and talk personally to the Local Registrar him/herself. There is actually a way you can secure all those documents to file for a late registration for your mother and correct the error on your birth certificate. For birth errors, it will be under R.A 9048. All filings will be processed in your Local City/Municipal Registrar. FYI, payment isn't much unlike paying for an attorney.

Hi Erika, i have the same problem with my name. What i did is i go to the lawyer and just make a statement that my name I am using right now and my name on the live birth is a same person. Now I am in Australia now. Take care and I love watching your vlogs with your Family. Xxx

Aaww, I cried with you, Erica.. I cried harder when Ricky appreciated your sadness & wanted to make it better, even harder, despite being sad, you’re reassuring him he is your ‘home’.

  • @dianasun5099

Ricky and Erica it’s a pleasure of you sharing the video of Jio first birthday party at Jollibee in the Philippines with all your families and friends. You are so blessed to have such amazing families. Especially your dad and mom who loves their grandchildren Dana and Jio. And Jio is always gives them a big smiles and his hugs to the families and friends. We cannot believe how much Dana loves to mingled with her cousins. She is so sweet and adorable to them. This God blessings to all of you having a wonderful times and enjoy your short visit to Erica home town. We know how hard it is to get paperwork done in order to have your dad and mom processing their Visa. My brother-in-law is also having difficulty time getting paperwork done for his son and his to come to USA from the Philippines. The family spoke to my brother-in-law telling him to hired an attorney to help him with his case. So, far the attorney has been able to get his son and his wife their paperwork filed through the Philippines consulate. We are continuing to pray for them that they can come to the United States to visit his father and the rest of the families. We will also keep you in our prayers Ricky and Erica that your parents and Dana and Jio could see their grandparents again this time in Korea. We are also wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Years❤🙏🙏🙏🙏

It happened to my father-in-law’s case. His name is different from what he was using. They just got affidavit of support stating that both names are same person. There were witnesses who signed the paper and notarized it afterwards. He was able to use it and obtain all the necessary documents to come to California. Hope everything will be alright. Nice and loving family Erica. You are such a lucky daughter, mom and wife. Same goes as well with Ricky. God bless you and your family always.

Now po, happy po ang mother namin nagtravel with us and as well as my sister po na residing na po sa Qatar. Hope it helps po.
