Love the "Tim around Town" title, and you provide terrific content Tim. Anyone would be very blessed to have you represent them as their Realtor®.
I’ve always loved this community since they started building in 2012/2013...I’m glad to be moving back to the DFW and Viridian is still on my list.
It’s beautiful I just ride pst a few weeks ago. I remember when they broke ground in 2012
Happy to help you make the move when you are ready.
Do you know when the lake was made?
This is nice. I think that you get a lot for your HOA. The only real put-off is that the community is a little large so it is likely that the club house and amenities require a drive. For as low as the fees are, I guess that is a small downside but investing in a golf cart to get there can tack on a few grand.
I wish I could get behind this community. But I can't get over the fact that it is *directly* across the street from the landfill. It used to be a low lying marsh. I don't know how they control the wind from the landfill. How does the man-made lake not become a runoff of the landfill, which is higher in elevation and less than a hundred yards away?
It might be fine for some people who want to spend $300k-$500k to be close to Jerry World and don't mind the landfill. I just couldn't go in the lake, and I'd be concerned about the wind.
I hear ya.
For me, just too many homes clustered together. Great location to river legacy park, takes some time to get to the highway but overall a central location. They beautified the landfill (I know it sounds funny). I would ask residents b4 considering
Lol this is true😂
If you drive by the Landfill, you'd see how well maintained it is. You don't see any trash at all.
This place is right by Arlington landfill AND built on what used to be an old landfill, and, in the past, when that's happened, people started having health problems.
and if the wind is blowing in the right direction you can smell the stench of the landfill.
@@tray2711 lol
The wind really doesn't have to be blowing!
The land where Viridian sits was never a landfill.
@@tray2711 That is not true. That landfill is Immaculate. There is no smell coming from there.
