We could call it "Water Symphony, by N. Orway". What an ideal location to dream and meditate, listening to the music of powerful waterfalls, while having coffee-pause.... , as the only human being amid a rough but so beautiful scenery. And the midnight-sun as a gentle companion... A marvellous video, dear Jarl !
Jarl the view at 20:30 of the ocean was a WoW! view. I've experienced the midnight sun in Kaktovic AK many times. It's part of he lure to be there. Not much for sleeping but total beauty to behold skirting the horizon. Just watch for polar bears with the big eye. I could stay around the camp for two or three days. It's so beautiful. I saw a reindeer path across the water head. There has to be good fishing there during the salmon run straight out of the ocean. Lot of insects on the water. How does the water taste? Looks great, high mineral content. Good place for solar cells charge those powerpak batteries while you walk. Some far out geological formations. Another incredible sky over the glacier. You got to go there. Great vid. Thanks, I know they are not easy to double walk and make.
Tremendous trek and tent spots, in an out-of-this-world place. The falls w/rainbow like a perfect lil dream! I lichen'd it a lot! ha. Your goodbye landscape sun rays were a fitting end. Thank you again!
That shroom was so cool! 🍄 I'm having a bad week and hearing and seeing all that luscious water made me feel so happy ~~ it really transported me thank you Jarl! Waiting for the NoX brand coffee that is earthy, rocky with grassy notes and launches one over the top of the planet. 🍮💫
The serenity of that primordial landscape must lift your spirits very much, NX. Beautiful region you've chosen. It's really spectacular. I envy you. Fantastic production quality, and choice of scenery. You really tell the story visually without the need for dialogue or text. The sense of isolation must have been overwhelming yet welcome. Really like the music, too. Your channel is a must-watch for me every time you post. You enjoyed some spectacular weather! Cheers.
I've seen a lot of your videos and this is one of my favorites. The quality of your content is top notch, just really enjoyable to watch. As someone who is just getting into adventure filmmaking I'm hoping to learn from your style. Thanks again for making all of these videos, I know it takes a lot of effort!
So beautiful! The Waterfall is so impressive and thrilling at the same time! Another wonderful hiking adventure, seems that the beauty of Norway is infinite, just as your passion to produce those fantastic films for us, thank you ;)
Beautiful channel, appreciate the way you let the camera do the talking. You really do justice to the Norwegian landscape. Takk for at du deler eventyrene dine. Vennlig hilsen!
A new and wonderful adventure ,. that’s the beauty of nature , Norway is already full of immense natural beauty, and most importantly it is still in its original unspoiled form. .Thanks for sharing this beauty with us 😍👌
Oh Wow! Another fantastic & beautifully produced video Jarl! The natural scenery, the sounds, the sun, the sky, the water, just everything, really makes for superb viewing. You truly enjoy & immerse yourself within Mother Nature & just living in the moment, which is just wonderful. I like how you just relax, take your time, no need to rush around & you actually stay for more than one night when camping, which is great. It creates even better viewing & is much fun to watch. IMPO, this is what truly living is all about. It's all the wee things that count most in the end. Your filming, cinematography, clarity of both image & sound, is always top notch! Your videos help me to relax to such a degree, that lately, i've been falling asleep straight after dinner @ the kitchen table! lol Tusen takk for sharing, as always & i await with great interest, your new upcoming video.
Hi Jarl (smile & a hug) Beautiful & broad views of 'above the Polar Circle' in every direction. It does look similiar to certain parts of Alaska. It has been only a short period of time that these places have become OUT from UNDER the Glaciers & snow fields. The History of Alaska dates back to about 14,000 years BC when 'foraging groups' crossed the 'Bering Land Bridge' into Alaska. The History of Norway dates back to about 12,000 years BC when the glacial land became habitable. Such a short amount of time for Humans to walk amongst these interesting places....isn't it. "THANK YOU JARL" for sharing these "Views Of The Beginnings" with us (WARM hug) GOD BLESSES ALL.
@@NorwegianXplorer Your "Adventures" make me seek out the "history's". I deserve no "thank you". Being "THANKFUL" is my obligation 2 U (smiles & a hug).
Tusen tack för denna fina video, Jarl! Älskade den väldigt vackra vattenfallen med så klart, blåaktigt vatten. Midnattens utsikter mot Nordkapp hade enormt vackra nyanser.
I'm back from my long vacation in Norway just a couple of weeks ago : I was there since the end of May ...it has been gorgeous , even if the weather has been very rainy all the times . Now I appreciate even more your videos because I know that it's so difficult to represent the Norvegian nature in photos and videos ...but you do it very well : yours are always very nice and enjoyable . What animal is that, with the antlers, right at the beginning? WHAT? Blue pants instead of Orange? Water, water, everywhere, except here in bone dry Nevada, U.S.A. Watching one of your videos is often the highlight of my day/night. .10 minutes - Stunning footage of the waterfall, rainbow, & a cup of coffee with water flowing by. Definitely a lot of battery power required for all that footage. What do you have/use to recharge your batteries over a 5 day/night period? All that effort required to set up your camera as you were hiking upstream. I'll bet the water temperature when wading was C-O-L-D. "Cliffed out" - an expression I've not heard B4. Nice legs; no veins, no battle scars. I don't ever remember seeing you with a GPS? Do you have one, to records your tracks? I've been aware for some time now just how many situations/uses I've noticed when using your ZPad closed cell foam pad. In a year, do you have any idea how many miles you hike? Any idea what your Accumulated Elevation Gain is? I like the notion/idea of using heavy rocks to secure your guyout lines instead of tent stakes. Warm Regards from bone dry Reno, Nevada U.S.A. After watching this video, I did what I should have done months ago, become a Patreon Supporter.
I noticed, thank you so much for your considerable pledge, really appreciate it! Blue pants, yes, they are not as good as the orange ones though, they are both Norrøna Falketind, but the orange ones stay up better when I hike. I bring 4 batteries for my Sony A7m4 and a power bank, usually a 26000mah one, that will charge my batteries around 5-6 times. My phone goes into airplane and low power mode and lasts me a week that way. I have a GPS on my phone for reference where I download the maps in Alltrails. Zlight is so useful for many things, its a chair, a pillow, a storage place while setting up camp etc etc. Not sure about mileage or elevation gain since I do not record my trips any longer. Thanks again:-)
Hi mate, fantastic video! I am looking to do this national park in July, how do I go about navigating it? I'm assuming there is no mobile reception. I'm used to mainly the Irish wilderness which is a lot smaller in comparison so it means you're never too far away from civilisation so you always have mobile reception, so I'm a bit of a amateur when it comes to navigation unfortunately! Any recommendations?
Hm, difficult to say, this was off trail, so I followed a map with some ideas I had made up. You could walk up Stabbursdalen itself, the valley I came down in episode 2. Maybe stick to the trails if you are not used to navigating, that would be up the valley.
