Final thoughts: I hear you on 4 card hands are not good, but I don’t really have an issue with drawing 1 brick. And that’s really because they all are soft bricks except for coelacanth. With all the soft bricks in there the math comes out to drawing at least 1 about half the time. Which isn’t good, but I guess I just got use to it after playing ghoti for so long. Also having all charmies probably would have helped with drawing what you need. They do help me a bit. Now I did mention in the discord that this is a work in progress deck that was actually meant for SUDA and I retrofitted it to submit to you. I was playing 8 “bricks” instead of 9 in 60 cards instead of 59. Which doesn’t change the math a lot. The main cards I’m looking at cutting are armored shark, mizuchi, and abyssocea. Mizuchi because I don’t like playing Megalo because I don’t like three card combos (it’s the same as drawing 4 card hands) and thus only letting me search one equip per turn. And Armored shark because then I will have a flex spot in the extra deck and I already have Abysstrite and triaina for revive effects to get a second rank 4. But you saying in this video that Coelacanth should be the focus, it makes me think maybe I should cut triaina instead so that I have armored shark for the main combo and for coelacanth. Or maybe I just replaced armored shark with harpooner, but it doesn’t give the same utility armored shark gives, in setting up a rank 4 and being able to trigger King Neptabyss. Abyssocea is a cool concept but is really only for abyssteus + a water which is unlikely to draw in 60 cards. And while it and a discard can get a decent endboard, that is also unlikely to draw in 60 cards. So I think it might not be worth it. All in all, I’m glad my unorthodox idea of a deck caught your attention, thanks for trying it, and I’ll have another list in February.
Hey man, Id love see it, if you dont mind Id love to play your deck first post new support! Agree with alot of wht u said, only response I have is replace XYZ engine, Ocea, Zealantis, Second Coral for Shif, Ran, Porpoise, Gymir/ Chengying, and dragite. In my opinion, this options provides more card snergy, card flexability, and better main deck choices
16:30 I think you should've still normal Diva, cuz then he has to shot something, then Shrine pitch Dragoons search Teus, Dragoons search Shadow, Teus search Gunde and Shadow special Nepty. I think that would've been the right line, doesn't matter what he does or responds with. 35:20 Nah man, Virtue Stream is crazy... there's a reason I played it in the main: what I think is that if he ruler/spoly/droplet you, you still have 2 infantry + Virtue (4 pops!). So no man, don't cut it out. It's really really strong and has to stay in the main; you can side it out, but no way it's originally in the side. Lernonad talked about the fact his deck is post-suda and downgraded it for u, so can't wait for you to play it as it should have been! But in reality I can't wait to see your decklist (I live in Italy, when you posted it 7 hours ago for me it was 4 am😅)! I'm going to see it now!
For the record VS RB: You Imperm Canna only when they just NS it. If it's elder canna, they just contacts, special, tag back out and combo anyways. The real issue is banshee (rnk4) into the nemesis package. Especially if they run corridor into collosus. :)
I havent really thought about my definitive version of the deck currently but during my free time, i will show personal lists i am testing here and there for sure and eventually I will take my preferred list to the Rosemont Regional first of the year
Bestower of flames has gotta go. Also ima keep it hunnit with you chief and all fellow water enjoyers: I ain’t playing mermail atlantean without megalo. He was my first ever boss monster when I was first learning the game and he secures games and I still love the mizuchi even if it gets sided out

Turns out idk about shif, due to the fish restriction for synchro plays

Will you create your own list at some point in the future using past lists and experience ? Would be really cool to see.
That's what I like to hear and what I hope to see soon!
