It would be smarter if I played the same song on all the guitars tested, so the difference in terms of sound from one to the other would be more evident.
@@UhlikMusic are they scalloping the bracing? I don’t think they were at one time. Not trying to be overly full of questions but I haven’t played one in a while and at some point I would like to hear a Takamine G series up against a comparable Yamaha.
Great question! A lot of it comes down to the back and sides! The GN93 has a Black Walnut/Maple back and Black Walnut Sides, as well as, a Laurel fingerboard while the GN90 has a Madagascar Rosewood Back and Sides and a Rosewood fingerboard. Both guitars have a Solid Spruce Top though!
I just purchased the GD11MCE and I’m thinking of returning it and upgrading to another G series because it just doesn’t “project” enough. Not as loud as I’d like. Is there another one that would be louder or is that just an acoustic-electric thing?

I just bought my daughter the GD11M-NS for Christmas. She has an Alvarez atm. I hope she loves this new guitar.
Takamine 💙
Is the 93 or 90 OK for just strumming with a pick
What does the WR mean on takamine GD30CE WR and how does it rank with takamine what year was it created
Was that an Audioslave song on the second guitar?
The GN71 was Doesn't Remind Me by Audioslave! Thanks for watching!
@@UhlikMusic sounded like Dandelion to me.
Oh yeah the first one is Dandelion! The last guitar is I Am The Highway so lots of Audioslave showed off in this demo!
Are the G series models still manufactured by Takamine in there China factory or are they outsourced now?
Still manufactured by Takamine in China!
