I mean he looks the part and he wrestle and can go in the ring for a guy of his size but it just feels like a transitional title run like there just waiting for Rollins to take the title of him at MITB so it's Seth vs Gunter at summerslam but at the same time I could see them doing a screwy finish again and someone how make it a triple Threat at summerslam between Seth,Damian and Gunther but his title reign won't go past summerslam

He's done little of note and shows the WWE aren't THAT invested in an older guy with lacking promo skills. At best, he was a minor accessory to the Punk/Drew feud and his win kind of hinted at something with Balor but Dom/Liv is sucking up all the oxygen in the room for Judgement Day stuff. He's the super midcard champ but comedy heel act Dom is overshadowing him because Rhea Ripley-related stuff is clearly more important/over.
He got the sympathy transitional champ run which is a nice gesture (guy has an inspirational story and put over Bad Bunny) and a step up from fighting zombies on TV in a wacky cross-promotional affair but he's holding Seth's belt warm. Most people are talking about how and when he'll lose the belt (against Seth or against Gunther/Seth) not IF he'll lose it.
But look at LA Knight and Chad Gable and ask if Priest got a better deal than them.

Its almost feels like a charity reign , but definitely its coming off of Priest soon. Gable and L.A are far more interesting. YEAH !!!

His promos are the most glaring weakness. He can get it done in the ring but his promo work is cringeworthy. Between him and Liv Morgan last night I found it a very difficult watch with all the bad acting.

Its been meh. Hes really good in the ring but the character and mic work is lacking. I also hate the force spanish lol, dude sounds like hes trying to give a spanish lesson during his promo
