explosive isn't a bad choice vs shields - though they have a high native resist, almost no one ever fits an explosive resist mod - they'll fit EM, Therm, Kin sometimes if they have the slots ; but statistically you're not wrong to shoot explosive at a shield tank and explosive will deliver to that armor HP pretty well, whereas EM not as much... if they are active repping and able to negate 50-80% of the damage you're throwing at them then you definitely want to be hitting that armor as hard as you can
Both are great ships, but the Praxis is more of a threat, especially with the heavy neut. Or better, depending on the situation, two heavy neuts. Fly unsafe o7
just built a Praxis for pvp, but yr XL shield boosters seriously push the Cap to 30 seconds. I think its the bonuses to this ship that give it a serious advantage over other BS. BTW, whatever happened to the Megathron Federal? Was its disappearance planned by CCP? you can't even get a BPO or BPC for it anymore.
Having a nice 1v1 and the bombers were having none of it, cowards! Same for the shot caller that told you to leave but trapped instead, cowards upon cowards! If they needed 12 ships to down you they should probably consider themselves very bad at the game.
This fit is far too expensive for what it is,drop the faction stuff for except the reps, nanos and cap battery, speaking of the cap battery is drop that for a web so you can apply to small targets, drop smart bomb for heavy neut and fit a mad for range control, baiting off gate, and bumping when needed, also yes missile damage types matter A LOT you were shooting explosive into his highest resist, explosive 😅
Thanks for input! - - An extra web? It entails dropping the cap battery which helps against neuting. A cap battery makes my tank run more often/longer under neut pressure, hence it gives me time to apply damage, mitigating the rather low dps of my Typhoon. An extra web is, however, rather situational (just as a cap battery, but more so). Since I've a scram, the extra web will help against very fast small ships with a very low sig that are just within scram range. When quite close, say < 4000 m, the grappler is quite effective against those kind of ships, the only exception is when they run an Afterburner (which is a good reason for fitting a neut, btw). Also, at least in my experience, three RHMLs apply very well when using a Standard Crash. And last, but not least, an extra web is useless versus cruisers and larger ships, although there are a few exceptions. - - Dropping the smarbomb for a heavy neut? I agree completely (I also mentioned this in the video). - - Using a MWD instead of a MJD? It is all about style, I guess. I am a brawler and usually scrammed. I blow the tackle up, then MJD. But there are times when I have missed the MWD, for sure. Against the Sin in this video, for instance. - - About most effective damage type to shield? Read the pinned comment by Graham Elliot. Missiles: One should definitely always try EM (I also mentioned this in the video), but EXP is quite often just as good due to the EM shield dogma mentioned in the pinned comment. (One exception worth remembering: Minmatar guns whose EMP ammo gives a bonus damage to shields.)

After perusing a lot different shield fits during 2019, that is my conclusion as well. Thanks for an enlightening comment!
This vid series is awesome man. I'm learning a lot.
Thank you! Fly unsafe o7
I watched all five parts this morning, and you've convinced me. I'll give the solo praxis fit a spin, and park my ravens.

I’m hooked! I hope you keep making these videos.
Thanks! I am planning to make more. Just needed a break. Life is so rich with things to do. 😃
Love these videos, so relaxing and entertaining
Thank you!
I enjoy the content even if it’s frustrating to watch. :) Keep up the work and you’ll improve!
Thanks! Sometimes I just plainly suck, sometimes I don't. I'll want to show both sides.
Well done. Another great video. It's like reading a story!
Thank you!
Love your content man, seriously! Keep it up!!!
It makes me glad to hear it! Thanks!
praxis with 3 cap batteries quite interesting. will try it.
cant wait for new videos
Thanks. Check this one for the optimal battle situation, in fight no. 2: ruclips.net/video/DVzbkN3dugI/видео.html
if you control-leftclick the boosters you want to consume and then rightclick you can consume all 3 at the same time
I know, but sometimes the 'Consume' option doesn't pop up... A bug? And sometimes I forget. Hehe...
Always good content from you.
Drop by syndicate again some time, but this time around M2 and VV 😉
I'll drop by one day 👍
Yes Yes - thats what it was, go out there, and do stuff... no matter what you'll get better...

I prefer a Praxis with armour repairers... (Unless the meta has changed the stats of the ship).
love your vids mate, but it's so frustrating watching you over-rep constantly in every video you put up. I find myself shouting at the screen.
Thanks! I can hear you shouting. :-)

Indeed!
Why not move your ship, even a little?
Hehe... The Praxis? The slowest battleship in the game with no prop mode. Move it?Nahhh.
The Typhoon? If there is a point to moving, I usually do.
Says why he has a smart bomb instead of nuet. Doesn’t use smart bomb when needed.
This guy shows us his mistakes my friend.
He makes them, he tries to learn from them.
We all get to watch.
Love solo bs pvp, but your over repping, mismanagement of drone aggressive, etc., is giving me heart palpitations hahaha
Overrepping is out of fashion. I'll try my best to adapt. ;-)
