Actually addicted to the game. 112 hours in this game. Some of the bosses are flat out crazy. Can't wait to see you fight them. Love your content man, looking forward to more of this from you.

I can't believe it's your first From Software game. I have been on the ban wagon since Demons Souls and it's the only franchise that has given me as much joy and fun as Monster Hunter. Good for you.

This game is crack. I was in love with dark souls 1&3 but this is on another damn level. I don’t even know how they managed to make a game this size. I think it’s worth 100$ and not the 70$ i paid

Saw a tweet talking about how From has spent years refining their development pipeline and building up their asset catalogue and it's all culminated with this thanks to all those years of refinement and iteration

I mean this shouldnt be surprising at this point, fromsoft cares about their games, and it shows.
But lets be real, there's a lot of ctrl c ctrl v, either from elden ring or previous games (I fought a capra demon re skin in the swamp for example).

I think monster hunter players will have the easiest time adjusting to the combat in this game, the ideas of having safe openings to attack & dodging thru with i-frames hold up in fromsoft games.

Can recommend any Souls game! Demons Souls might be a little different but Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, that stuff is awesome! Sekiro is a little different but the former games are all very similiar to Elden Ring :)

From Software should learn from Capcom how to make good "big enemy" fights because fighting dragons in ER is a fucking pain in the ass.

There is a lot of carryover skill from monsterhunter in fromsoft titles.
God of war is a cakewalk compared to Elden Ring
GOW is clunky af and the controls are not enough responsive. And the camera placement is god awful. Playing GOW on hardest difficulty is a nightmare.
I'm sure you heard this a million times already but I'm surprised you haven't played Bloodborne. Never met a monster hunter player who disliked Bloodborne
This guy is a legend. He has the makings of a great gamer. It's hard to imagine that this is his first FromSoft game. I guess this shows that even a noob to this sub-genre could do well by just paying attention to the game's mechanics and being observant overall. Instead of b*tching and whining about how a game is supposed to be and how it's not... He focused on learning the game and aced it. I can already picture him becoming a souls-vet in the foreseeable future.
To be fair, Herny has Monster Hunter experience, as both game franchises have almost similar combat principles (don't overcommit, watch for tells, dodging and reading attacks as well as difficulty). Applying that same combat mindset to a Souls-like makes things much easier.
It worked for me at least as without my MH experience, I would have never been able to enjoy Bloodborne and Dark Souls as much as I did.
Yeah but he is an absolute pro mh player so naturally he could easily become good at fromsoft games as they are harder but dont have the same skill ceiling as MH
