u r amazing bro it works perfectly
thanks its work for me good job
Thanks MDTechVideos, it works for my NIVIDA. I appreciate your help.
This worked for me, a temporary solution so you can actually fix the problem would be to open up the file manager and reset it in the task manager.
Worked like a charm. Thank you!
Amazing!! This nailed it. To the comments that are saying "We can't right click at all. So how can we use this method?"
This method is probably for instances where right clicking is only malfunctioning in certain places but not everywhere. For me, I couldn't right click on desktop, but I could everywhere else. So this fix worked for me.
This started happening after I reinstalled windows after getting a pretty bad virus, thanks a lot.
It's very rare you find such a clear and well put together tutorial that fixes the issue first try.
Thanks for sharing, glad I was able to help!
I was skeptical about putting my trust in to someone telling me to deleted files from the registry but I can confirm this worked immediately.
For some context, my right-click wasn't working on the desktop but worked everywhere else. Tried used trackpad and mouse - same result. This is a fresh install of Windows 10 on a new laptop as well. When the issue occurred I was just getting the spinning blue wheel. This was the first video I clicked. Followed the steps. I actually had the three folder to delete. Deleted them and immediately the issue was resolved.
Thank you uploader! :)
u should do it i just did it and it worked
Thanks so much for being clear and concise. You've saved me time and energy!
Glad to help!
Worked! Also for the people saying "I have to right click the windows button" Press Windows Key + R.
You're welcome!
worked for me.
right click is working fine except on desktop which right click is not working. after doing that, everything's okay now. thanks!
I've had this problem for more than 5 years and your solution just worked. Thanks!
Thank you..........your solution was perfect - and a lot simpler than the dozen or so others I looked at on line.
You're welcome!
Right It’s so easy to follow this guy when the first step was only to right click the windows button
@@lemon.5578 u can just do windows r u know that rite?
@@prakritgajurel4867 ??
I was skeptical at first, deleting things i had no knowledge of- but the fix worked perfectly. Thanks.
You're welcome!
You may press window key and x to get the menu instead of right click
Clear and concise minimal rambling which i gratly appreciated, great video sorted the problem out.
Thanks Hassan, glad to help.
"its rare you will have both files" *looks to see both files*
Underrated comment

u have a diffrent problem
hit the deleted key on your keyboard
the tutorial is about fixing the right Mouse click and the first thing you tell us to do is use the right Mouse click?????
Walker Pantera u did not understand what he is trying to say this tutorial is for not working of right click on screen the same problem I was suffering from but after this tutorial I fixed it. When I right click on main screen it took 12 to 15 min to open the refresh toggle before this tutorial I tried very hard to fix this but did not work even though I reset my dell 7588 also known as G7 two times but nothing happened now thank God finally it solved.....
Instead of right clicking the start menu. Find the windows button, hold it and press R. The run window will appear and you can type regedit.
Thanks so much for this , it's been 2 years since you posted this video windows 10 still has this problem.
You're welcome!
I have AMD and dont see none of these folders
No one cares about AMD
I had all 3 graphics drivers, and deleted all without issue. It was the right fix, thanks.
You're welcome!
PLEASE HELP now I can’t see nvidia control panel
dude, do you even know what you deleted, you just delete the files that are needed to run nvidia control panel, your gonna have to download it manually from the nvidia website www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us make sure you choose the correct gpu, good luck!
When I check mine, the last three that you deleted is not in my computer instead I seen ACE. What is ACE? It’s not in your video. Thanks.
Thank you, that did solve it for me.
Your welcome!
@@MDTechVideos know this is late but thank you so much!

Same here. Finally!
I dont usually comment, but I have to say thank you so much! its the 3rd time iv had issues with my PC and I really didn't want to get it looked at yet again. This solved it strait away.
You're welcome!
Your presentation is really helpful
But in last...there is not last 3 which you deleted...only 4 i am getting FileSyncEx to WorkFolders
Is there any other solution my friend its really not working for me and i am getting much troubles
I couldn't "right click" at all today on my laptop and have been searching for the answer. This video looked to be what I needed, and I had all three of those folders. So I deleted them, restarted the laptop, but the problem persisted. Couldn't right click in any way, shape, or form. I decided to try something else.... I had a minor problem with my mouse earlier today, so I switched out one mouse with another and the "can't right click" problem was instantly solved.
Thank you very much this worked. The problem with me was not right clicking itself, but right clicking on my desktop background and this tutorial fixed the problem. As for the people having problems with right clicking in general, this is definitely not the tutorial to fix that.
You're welcome!
Nigga I can't right click. How you expectin' me to right click the goddamn start button?
I know this is an older video, but I just started having this problem with a windows update I did about a week ago (Sept 2019) (no, I had not been putting off the updates for months / years - it was a new update, at least for my laptop) and I honestly did not even notice I was not able to right click until today when I tried to right click. I tried this and it worked perfectly on my laptop. I know he said it would be "highly unusual" to have all three of those folders to delete in the registry editor, but I had to delete all three. I don't know why I had all three, but I did. And to answer some of the comments down below about their right click being broken so they could not right click on the "start button", my problem was exclusively confined to not being able to right click on the desktop. Every other right click function was working - I think that's the point of this video, it deals exclusively with not being able to right click on the desktop itself. But that's just my two cents.
Either way, super helpful to me and I appreciate the video still being available three years later.
Under "ContextMenuHandlers" had totally different text but I gave it a try anyway. Fortunately it worked a treat after a re-boot. Many thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video it looked a little sketchy deleting files, but it turned out to work.
You're welcome!
It's worked for me! I had tried a lot of different tweaks but they didn't work. You're a genious.
You're welcome!
I have an HP all in one Windows 10. I don't see any of the registry files you asked to delete. BUT, I figured out how to fix my 🐁. I have a reset button and I did that, plus I have to hold the button down until the menu comes up. Very different.
Also, I thought it was strange in the video, that you asked those who cannot right click to right click. You did this a couple of times before the issue should have been fixed. Otherwise a very good video.
If you can kindly elaborate, I will do my best to assist.
thanks , work like charm
You're welcome!
GOD BLESS YOU..... I know this video is old but I randomly ran into this issues today and really needed to attempt to resolve it after almost an hour of searching with dead ends your less than 5 min video that was straight to the point fully resolved my issues I greatly appreciate it.
You're welcome!
My battery was low even when plugged in and have not used in awhile.
After it got some charge "right click" and "scroll pad" are now working- stoked!
So the problem has been resolved?
You need to restart your computer after applying this fix. It worked great for me. Thanks mate.

Your welcome! It should not, but you should be able to easily undo what I show in this tutorial.
Thanks, this was getting frustrating and my desktop kept freezing. Super simple.

This method works very well! Thank you so much for making this video! To those people who are pissed because of their right click button is not working it's either your TouchPad or mouse is broken.

it just straight up fixed it, thank you so much
Glad I could help
This seemed to work for me. Time will tell? Thanks! Will this hurt anything long term? I followed another youtube video and deleted another few entries in the registry and it did not work. Will that cause any problems later? I think this is related to windows update because my computer did not start acting up until windows updated.
Thank you very much :-) It worked for me. Mouse right click button is working now.
You're welcome!
I can't delete the folders because I can't write click. Do you have any suggestions?
it is still relevant in 2020 and fixed issue a 100%
