  • This video lesson covers the volume mesh quality and how to improve it using an additional task available in the Ansys Fluent Meshing watertight geometry workflow. The watertight geometry workflow in Ansys Fluent Meshing is a guided workflow designed to quickly mesh any clean watertight geometry. The guided workflow directs a user through a step-by-step process of simple, intuitive inputs. Behind the scenes, Fluent Meshing uses built-in intelligence and automation to create a high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) mesh. In this lesson, the focus is on understanding the volume mesh quality and how to improve it using the Improve Volume Mesh Task in the workflow. We will dig into the working details of this task with the help of a demo problem.

I'm wondering how do you access the variable 'minimum orthogonal quality' in the python console? I need to improve the volumn mesh quality if this variable is less than 0.15, please help me, thanks.

Should I just try setting the 'quality improve limit' > 0.15 in the advanced options of 'generate the volume mesh' step?
