I heard someone explain that Super7 can only do Playmates designs if those same designs showed up in other media or products, and this Rocker Leo was included in some Valentine's Day cards or something. If it had only appeared in the Playmates line, they couldn't have used it. That might explain why his accessories are somewhat different. I don't know if we'll ever get official word from Super7--it's probably something they can't talk publicly about. Makes me wonder if Rappin' Mike and Heavy Metal Raph would have shown up on Valentines or other media, too--I definitely want to get those as well! It would suck to only get half that sub-line.

I think you are spot on about the accessories for Rat King. Even with a change from the Playmates art style we are getting little to no accessories compared to other figures, even within the same wave.
Thanks. Even without the original accessories this figure needs more. Make some new stuff. Soda pop grenades, anything really. Or at least more than three rats.
Uploading again yay? Oh it’s for Super7 wave 10 that’s some kinda monkeys paw. But I admit it’s a fascinating mystery almost. I really hope we can still get some good figures from them in the future even if I won’t be getting this RatKing. Personally hoping we get a NECA mirage RatKing to be the gnarly RatKing for my collection.
I’d love a NECA Mirage Rat King. Really any and all Mirage figures. I need them to make a Savanti Romero at least. I’m hoping to keep my schedule a little more consistent this time around. Got some ideas for some new videos.
I see your points, and they are valid. I disagree, to some extent, but, have my own reasons as to why. But in the interest of debate, and alternative views, here's my grubby pennies. I'm on board with the Rat King, because I think they will come out with more accessories for him. I also airbrush, so I dont mind working on them to make them grittier, more accurate, etc. Like with the exclusive glow Muckman and Joe Eyeball, his left shoulder mushrooms, I had to paint those with a very bright pink on their caps to make them pop, with UV glow paints. Fun stuff, and he's gorgeous. I only dont like Leo from this line, but that is because even as a child I wasn't interested in the rocker turtles. Casey is a badass in this form, I love his alternate head sculpt, and the red is way better. His accessories also have improved, and I appreciate that. April in this wave is the only April I've ever wanted. She's awesome. Influences from all the turtles and Splinter are represented, and she is an idealized version of her. I love it. Can't wait! I appreciate your opinions. Thanks for sharing 😊. The figures is growing on me. I was just expecting a playmates style rat king and was just shocked. Having time with the idea of a new rat king interpretation I’m thinking it isn’t so bad. I wish he had more accessories though. I think if Super 7 gave us a heads up the surprise wouldn’t have blindsided so many people. That being said I’d like to see them make more characters that never got an original figure. Like Karai.

Only getting rockin Leo here. Rat king is a massive miss. Had he been like the original, then sure. I’m not paying $55+ shipping for all these. They need to tell the fans what’s happening

@@tmntuniverse I think they would do something in the middle like the old carded release. A deluxe style figure like Mum-Ra or Mon-Star. Maybe 8 or 9 inches tall with a Krang that's a shrank down version of the one that just released.
3 variations in a wave AGAIN, garbage. RatKing looks emo. Casey looks like a shot at Neca. Neca just released the Mirage version and Monsters is fixing to come out. The 2nd head looks Phantom of the Opera. So 2 characters in 1 kinda.
