Thank you so much for making this video. I made a list of some of the K-pop boy bands I wanted to watch and I’m slowly making my way through the list. Let me tell you, they’re all fantastic and the guys are freaking gorgeous! But what makes BTS stand apart from the rest? Has anyone else ever asked that question? Let me make it clear that I like ALL the members and it wouldn’t be BTS without all seven but Jimin stands apart; he’s in a class all his own because he is GIFTED. Technique can be taught but “instinct” cannot. Jimin has taken his martial arts training and his dance training and his god given instincts and combined them to create his own unique style of dancing. BTS is a stand out because of the seven members but also because Jimin is the “hook” that draws you in and makes you want to see more. That’s the way it was for me; I got “hooked” by Jimin. I often get scolded because I say Jimin gives BTS an edge over the other boy bands; that I should love them all equally but here’s the thing; they’re not my kids so I don’t have to but I do like them all. I think they have a great group dynamics and they honestly and truly care deeply for each other like a family. I want to reiterate that all the members are valuable and even though Jimin is a member of the group he stands apart because of his unique talents, that’s all I’m saying. Well, that Korean DJ basically said the same thing. I wish this video could d be seen world wide because it’s all facts and no one’s opinion and I feel Jimin deserves even more recognition.
This is so true, that’s also why Jimin has earned the nickname of “recruiting fairy”. His charm and talents have made many BTS fans. Although his individual success and achievements is currently already unmatched; and also well recognised professionals, media, experts in the various fields, he definitely deserves a lot more recognition! I was really not into kpop or Jimin at first but as I watched their videos due to curiosity, I found myself falling hard for Jimin. It just happened. Yes, it's easier to see his popularity now because BTS is now a household name, but for those who have followed the band and Park Jimin since the beginning will know that he's been popular since debut and even *before* debut. In high school, Jimin and his friends would perform song-and-dance numbers for the class/school and one in particular to TVXQ's "Mirotic." Girls would flood towards them while performing and cause the stages to collapse. Fans and fellow students would rush and follow him around campus, _even_ to the restrooms! Jimin at the time was not even a trainee in a company, but he had fan sites dedicated to him. If that's not enough, Jimin was voted class president for nine years. Jimin's star will always shine the brightest.

I don't want to be attacked by other solo stans but honestly speaking I think jimin was the one who was naturally recognized way before their rookie days, then after he got so much recognition, other solo stans of other members try their best to hype their fave member so much and make everything into a competition. I just love how JM stans are so chill and just let jimin shine organically. Let's continue supporting JM 💜
@@samanthapeel383 no I'm not a solo stan. I'm also OT7 but jimin is my bias. This is just how I've observed things when I became an army. Teahyung solo stans are the loudest among solo stans I've encountered and as much as possible I want to avoid them.

A lot of rookie idols look up to him too when it comes to dancing and singing. Jimin is definitely the most popular, most acknowledged BTS member in Korea and that's the truth, definitely the major attractor to BTS in the country and worldwide. He's always been known for his stage performance, stunning dance skills and lines, unique vocals and singing techniques. Not to mention his charming personality that is the sparkles of their variety shows too. OT7 ARMYs barely mention his strong position and contribution to the group skill wise (always with the cute, soft, cheerleader Jimin only). But then everyone with clear sight and no biasness can see how much influence and power Jimin holds for the team (SUGA, RM even loudly declare this) and individually he'd perform the best too. Hence so much jealousy toward him

I just wish Bighit/Hybe would acknowledge this as well. They seem bent on only promoting certain members in BTS.....I don't understand why they would ignore Jimin's accomplishments and the great part he played in the success of BTS (not saying the other members didn't) but even a great artist like Ailee noticed Jimin's talents and wanted to collab with him from the beginning.

And then in one interview Jimin was asked to choose between Filter and ON (and ofc he had to choose ON. Cause if he choose Filter people will start hating him). Jimin was also not credited for his background vocals for 'Stay Gold'.

They seem bent on only promoting certain members in BTS.....I don't understand why they would ignore Jimin's accomplishments and the great part he played in the success of BTS (not saying the other members didn't) but even a great artist like Ailee noticed Jimin's talents and wanted to collab with him from the beginning.

And then in one interview Jimin was asked to choose between Filter and ON (and ofc he had to choose ON. Cause if he choose Filter people will start hating him). Jimin was also not credited for his background vocals for 'Stay Gold'.
