jesus berserk is so well thought out
ikr even the early chapters fits so well. even the idea of evil chaper which was removed was well thought out but it was too soon and revealed too much. It shows Miura thought it out since golden age at least
Miura (aside from being top tier artist/writer) was a legit philosopher.. or at least he completely understood the concepts that top dogs of 20th century thinkers formulated in their time, mainly C. G. Jung and F. Nietzsche.. and put their work into his work of “fiction”, that’s why I love Berserk as the sole Manga/Anime I’ve ever consumed.. it’s a sheer feast for the mind if one is interested in psychology and metaphysics..
“The spirits were at peace and have no regrets. That’s why they were able say goodbye to their loved ones for the last time”
Griffith: *condemns them to hell for an eternity immediately after*
Seriously man your coverage of berserk is amazing mate, the creators should give you some recognition.
Tell me about it mate, definitely the best "Berserk" creator next to @spired8890
Random theory I was thinking about, Griffith is the Falcon of Darkness what if the Moonlight boy/demon child is the Falcon of Light? Like a yin and yang sharing the same body
Makes sense within the context of the story. Great analysis.
I believe you just nailed the ending. I can’t imagine anything more thematically satisfying. Great cook bro.
Guts (Beast of Darkness)
Moonlight Boy (Femto)
Casca (Elaine)
King Gaiseric (Zodd)
And my 50cents:
Lady Priestess of the Cherry Blossom (Void)*
*1000 years ago a member of the God Hand performed the incarnation ceremony or at the very least that's what Skull Knight said, "all is it going like 1000 years ago". I assume LPoCB was capable of overcoming Void's influence in her body, that's why she looks normal and no God Hand member seems to possess anymore its incarnated body.
Great video as always! Can't wait to see how the ending plays out and I'm curious how much of it you'll get right.
That image at 4:00 is really fuckin cool, who's the artist?
Hyped!
Always love to listen to your explanation and theory videos. :)
This theme of continuation in the boy's story and the fact that Miura died right after "Griffith" shedding a tear is absurdly poetic. A literal deathly passing of the torch.
Loved the video! I think that would be a great way to deal with Griffith
Honestly an incredible video you have some of the most solid Berserk knowledge of any channel I’ve seen on here. The realization that Griffith literally shed his last tear at the eclipse totally recontextualizes that moment when he speaks to Guts on Elfhelm
That’s badass. I never thought of those two moment juxtaposed
Balls.

Keep the work up!
Nice video. I'm thinking that the child of Guts was destined to be the downfall of Femto as part of Causality. And knowing that, Femto tried to sow the seed of evil into the child by raping Casca and trying to make the child cursed with Femto's own being to try and disrupt this.. It kind of reminds me of Casca's heart in the dream being bound by a curse. Slowly though, that child is able to block out more and more of that curse (for whatever reason). Maybe it's due to the actions and ideas of Guts or Casca. It also looks like that Casca is the only person in the physical world with any connection to this child and maybe the most important piece in all of this, hence why Griffith is obsessed with her. There's got to be a reason that Skull Knight saved both Guts AND Casca. The story hasn't really been about Casca but she is probably going to be a key piece for the ending. Maybe Casca too was cursed by Femto so Casca cannot play her part in stopping Femto and then as soon as her memory was restored, Femto needs to control her to stop her from playing her part.
Are you perhaps lunchtime crew?
Damn, great stuff dude
richard is powerful againts god because hes a scientist.
Gotta know where can I find the image at 4:08
Great video
I suggest Guts has to kill the Moonlight Boy with Griffith trapped inside of him, I just imagine something gruesome with the „happy“ ending for Guts
yeah I hope guts does not kill the child and kills griffith some other way. but most likely the story will present that dilemma for guts. Guts is not perfect but doing something so drastic is hard pill to swallow
amazing analysis damn youre smart dude
hmmm4_4 Goood show kinda nice
Wait you pronounce “od” like O.D. and not odd? Hmmm lol
Pretty sure it's pronounced "Ode"
This gave me an idea about the alleged god hand from the blood memory, what if they are also powerful ideas or monsters creates by people. Instead of people becoming "gods"
Spot on
Its not the Moonlight boy. I see your interpretation, but the tear means it is Griffith. Its Griffith expericing emotion all over again as the boy, waking up from what Griffith experiences as a dream but is the Moonlight boys reality and sheds another final tear of his humanity that fades away upon awakening.
Thats what those sentences mean, it wouldn’t make sense for the Moonlight boy to suddenly speak only upon becoming Griffith plus Griffith isn’t supposed to feel things but the boy causes him to on the hill of swords.
Od is a word not an acronym
Happy Pride month to all Americans. 🇺🇸🤝🏳️🌈
no thanks, keep that shit in your fucked up head
Provided a lot of clarity and it was much needed considering I read this entire series in a feverish 2 weeks.
in the end guts cant kill griffith because he is an idea, but guts can kill the child to get rid of griffith
strengthen your heart, it"ll get shaken onto its core
That would be horrible though, the child is at least partly his own...
Yeah but the one kid slapped Griffith. So it’s something about Gut’s perception. Gut’s maybe has some mental block. Which would be understandable after everything Griffith put him through.
seems more likely for casca to finish off the moonlight boy to destroy griffith especially if she learns the truth of the eclipse which she has yet to remember. Casca is currently in Falconia and the moonlight boy is always drawn directly to her on nights of the full moon giving casca full opportunity to do this after she learns the truth
I know you know the ending to the story, but you're not telling us and you periodically release videos with little hints🤔
Nah bro, you actually have a compelling argument, I completely understand it all
Damn.explains everything!
Great content my dude😊😅
Guts's beast of darkness? I thought all of us have one. That black dog is the most relatable part of the manga for me. I have the same one.
The beast of darkness is a representation of the negative side of the human self, so just like everybody is a different person from the other, so too is each beast of darkness. Guts' is represented as a black dog.
It’s his spirit animal and mine is a honey badger
I agree but wouldn’t that imply that the moonlight boy is confused aswell on why he becomes a child? If he says “I turn into a small child” I would think he sees himself as Griffith or someone controlling Griffith before his body transforms.
Great Video my brother
Your vids make my day man clutch
Siblings from the astral realm, like apostles, how are in the physical world. Beings from the world that idea have great power in the astral plane, as discussed here. So does that mean part of what berserk is about is how people in the physical world have power over the world of ideas/ the collective unconscious?
well done!
can u do an after the anime for magi 🤔
this makes so much sense man
yoo great break down
I love this idea
There’s always been something described as the collective unconscious. Along with Tulpas… Shows that humans have been pondering how or if thoughts can be manifested physically. Or that it’s something that can be tapped in to.
Fascinating! Congratulations for tackling such tricky topic 👍
First.
lol
Pretty accurate analysis!
I've had almost this exact theory about the end of berserk for literal years. Great video.
Damn, that's a really compelling theory. But I wonder how casca, skull knight, Zodd, etc. play into this theory. My theory about Zodd and skullknight is that they are the old king but split apart. Could skullknight be the idea and Zodd the actual person/body? And what part will the behelit play. There are so many puzzle pieces that could have the story go in so many ways, that's what makes berserk so awesome! You never know what will happen, but looking back there are always small hints and foreshadowing
