Kylie has real listeners a real fandon. She doesn't have bots that play her songs countless times on the platforms. This explains why some "artists" have 2 or 3 years of glory and dont have longevity in the industry, they're discarded and the artificial machinery of fame is taken away without having worked hard to obtain it.
Kylie has never sounded so confident, self-assured and confident. She deserves the world. As a lifelong fan I’m so f*cking PROUD. This is much more cohesive than Tension. That has genius tracks across different genres but ♊️ is a top notch cohesive album x
This woman is on such a high, may this never end :) as a long Kylie fan I am sooo thankful for that. She releases so much high quality stuff. She deserves all the love and praise she can get!

padam is so much more reflective of tension 2, the first album was not sonically cohesive and more 80s pop leaning, to me this matches the album that padam shouldve been representing more

the best way to describe this album is....its just very Kylie...like no other really. ive decided voices trend and she's been around so long every decade or so her type of vocals are on trend and now is her time again. she really as a icon.

without those collabs , except for the one with sia i feel like this album should have been tension from last year soundvise, including padam, hold on to now, tension, things we do for love, vegas high and somebody to love . this would have been a killer album. but yeah this one really stands out and is amazing and i am thankful that she decided to put out a sequel

Someone for Me is very ATB 9pm and I’m living for it! Good as Gone is great but I’m LOVING KISS Bang Bang and I was expecting the unreleased Hello and I think it’s better than what I expected! ❤ from Chicago!

It took a few listens but I'm enjoying Tension 2 now. Taboo and Kiss Bang Bang are my favourites. Overall its a great follow up to Tension. 👍

Good album, my copy's aren't here yet. The Kylie store posted it today😞 so it will take some time since the UK isn't in the eu anymore. I just almost never like her slow songs, so the last one is a skipper for me. ❤ but got my tension tour tickets, and I can't wait to see her again. It will be the fourth concert😍

For me it's better than Tension I, less 'adult-pop' . more gimmicky and fun and even if some songs sound familiar or even generic there's definitely lots of unexpected decisions in production or vocal

No idea why it was done this way but highly recommend listening to this album using the vinyl version track list, better incorperates the collab tracks especially, My Oh My & actually devides the songs right where you mentioned there being that slight shift in vibe to the more lighter ethereal side, the cd/digital/streaming list feels much more compilation/deluxe album esc reducing the covers to feel more like bonus tracks...

*As far as which is better, in my opinion really just depends on which vibe from the tension era you prefer, the more light 80's synthpop vibe is much more present on OG Tension, but if you prefer the more modern electronic vibe from tracks like Padam, the title, 10/10 etc... then Tension II is way more for you. I'm more in Tension II supremacy camp if I had to choose but they're both perfection for me!

I think Someone For Me is the standout track, Top Tier - Taboo, Good As Gone, Diamonds (which I didn't really like at first and still not keen on the first verse but I love the pre-chorus, chorus and instrumental) Mid Tier - Kiss Bang Bang, and I think Hello, I'm not sure what to think about this one but again love the intrumental. Bottom Tier - Shoulda Left Ya, it's ok but sounds like other stuff she has done and it's a no from me for Dance To The Music, I think the chorus is really boring doesn't make me want to dance. Thanks again for another reaction, I always find your takes interesting.
“Shoulda Left Ya” is very good though. Kinda sounds like something from Taylor Swift 😅 But the song is like a Story part 2 (from Tension).

...which last album? if it is Harlequin it's obvious a jazzy quirky album won't be the album of the year. It's not meant to be a main era. About the movie, she won't suffer. Both Gaga and Joaquin will be just fine. Doing better numbers than that Katy's álbum is good enough. I don't expect big numbers cause seems to be quite a experimental album. Might be her best so I am all in.

Not a fan of Tension II so far. Loved every track on Tension (standard edition), but other than most of the previously released tracks, I only like Kiss Bang Bang, Hello and maybe Dance To The Music…
This one of her worst albums 😭😭almost everything is filler...
