  • In this video, I have looked at blocking as a technique that film can teach us about photography. I have show examples of blocking in films, looking at how famous filmmakers used it to create meaning in their films.
Also, I have described what is meant by the term 'blocking' and how you can use it to improve your own compositional skills.

Not a problem. I'm enjoying the direction your channel is going. You have inspired me to pick up my camera more again... and also invest in the XF 70-300mm for some wildlife shoots

That’s excellent. I’m really glad I’ve been able to help. That’s the best part of making the videos, hearing that they have helped people 😊

I noticed your sensor is dirty more prominent on your forehead. BUT love your content. I needed this insight. Thanks!

Firstly, thank you for taking a look at the video and I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. I'm trying to plan out more content like this and move away from Fuji specific stuff (which was never really my intention for the channel).
The sensor is actually fine. What're you're seeing there is the shadow from the boom mic I'm using. I am trying to fix this at the moment, experimenting with new lighting setups. I've recently bought an LED panel which I think it helping but I need to carve out some time to make more videos. They will be along soon :)

Please make more contents like this. I think this is less tackled nowadays in RUclips. I like how you deliver the topic. Rooting for your future contents and hoping for your success :) Cheers!
