That was a nice BBQ. It had some healthy items too like the veggies and the steamed egg. And as my Kaiping (Hoiping) dad and grandma used to say, fu yui for fu yee.😊
Yes, the fu-yu (fermented tofu) over steamed rice is similar to soy sauce over rice when we were kids in HK. At Chinese banquets, we kids preferred hoisin sauce over rice while our parents and grandparents just shook their heads. But they were probably thinking, "Yeah, more real food for us adults!"

Danny You gotta eat the vegetables (scallions) with a meat otherwise by itself it’s too spicy. Next time ask them for some garlic in sesame oil and cook it on the grill with meat. Also get some lettuce and bean paste to make a wrap.
Danny that is a feast suit for a king. Also legend has it that if you clap your hands and yell "more beef peasants" they bring your meat faster.

never ate fu yu with rice , but plenty with plain congee. the things you call bean sprouts are probably soy sprouts. they are delicious .

This place looks really good Danny, and I'm glad it's quality stuff and (kinda) fairly cheap compared to similar spots in NYC or LA etc. But, where's the beef chow fun?!!? :O

4:00 "Fu yi song fan" sounds like a chengyu (Chinese proverb four characters) but I don't completely understand it. Fu yi is the jar bean curd product and fan is rice, but what is the rest?

I've never seen a steamed egg before. It looks like an omelet. It appears that bean sprouts are your kryptonite.

My folks ate that nasty preserved tofu back in the day with their plain congee. Being an ABC, I eat totally the opposite stuff that they ate when they were kids and back in China &HKG.

Very lucky with all those 8's. Steamed egg looks awesome... a Korean souffle. Dig the fermented bean curd... ya cheap SOB. Salad crap is crap. Only Koreans can make brisket work. I am not big on cabbage kimchi, bit give me radish kimchi and I am happy as a pig in a wallow. Mung bean sprouts are horrid. I prefer the Korean BBQ buffet.

I believe everything you say about your meal but even though I can afford the price, there's no way I can eat all that!!! For me, it's too much food. I've stopped eating at AYCE place regardless of the quality of the cuisine. A little surprised you're there though. I thought you were cheap!
they also have alacarte.. but then that is never worth the money...

Did Danny get off the wrong stop? Texas maybe? Excuse me, Korean waitress. there are Tortillas in my grill? LOL! $49 price is hard to swallow. I ate at cheaper price as long the meat is higher grade. BBQ is all about the meat. Right? My dream of Danny eating VEG. came true at least.
