Dear Grape Ape: If you are to continue your quest to expose GG's tactics, let me share another one of their tactics so you can add it to your case. A few GG members use test center to cycle through POI's using the [go function (not sure if its a script but I would guess so) to sniff out players in the open world who are testing house placement options. They will then camp the live server after finding prospects from the test server. There is no cooldown of the [go function on test center, so you can cover a large portion of the world relatively quickly. I consider these practices to be somewhat of an epidemic on Outlands and hope they come up with something to curb it, perhaps a cooldown of 30 seconds for the [go function of test center would be a start. Hope this helps and hope your voice is louder than mine, carry the hell on...
Worst part of UO to me was always the housing. / land rush. I dont get why these private shards dont just do unlimited bank boxes and no housing so the world can be used for actual gameplay amd events. I mean how do you even attempt to make some world event with all that. You cant.
I think they problem here is that this person recorded video evidence of what happened and sent it to staff. I am going to be sure to do this next time I am at an IDOC and GG is there because I am almost certain that I have even seen somebody using all 3 of their accounts recently, one blue using reveal/detect, one , one blue macroing placement, one coming as a red to try to kill other people trying to afk place/nakeds trying to place, they had multiple there like this but again im not sure of who is who and if its somebody multiboxing but I am sure maybe if it gets recorded and sent to staff, they can see its all the same person or multiple people doing it using multiple of their accounts.
I honestly won't even try to place a house on outlands. I really want one of the new house designs when they come out, but unless I can pay someone to place it, and then sell it to me I'm not going to get it. The ban seems really harsh.
@@Grape_Production Oh yea, they camped me for almost 2 straight weeks, they literally had people on 24/7. I think they finally went to sleep and I was able to place my limestone CY. Apparently GG does this all time to everyone on the server. Just like what the dude above said, they go on test center and find out who is placing houses in certain areas and will camp that said area.
@@nickmurrayshow We all know to an extend some rules won't apply as if it's either 1 or 0. Admins would sometimes use their initiatives to decide on how to apply the rule in good faith. This makes us all more human. But, I need to stress out that by this I don't mean whether their decision was wrong or not. I am simply stating that a rule is there to guide us all but application might differ depending on some circumstances.
Did your guild play on ABC UO? I know your guild from somewhere. I agree with the PVP being good for the server. I can’t wait to pvp again, just got back into UO after a 6 + year break. Once I get my toons leveled and geared I’ll see y’all out there :]
