I needed to program a replacement remote for a Viper 474v remote. I ended up going to the alarm company’s website and downloading the manual. See below: 1. Open at least one vehicle door. Open door 2. Turn the ignition to the ON position. 3. Within 10 seconds, press and release once and then press and hold the system’s Valet button. The status LED begins flashing in a sequence of 1 flash and the siren/horn (if connected) sounds to confirm the system is ready for pairing. 4. Press and release the Lock button on the remote. The vehicle horn sounds (if connected) to confirm the system has paired with the remote control. If Remote Pairing fails, repeat the above procedure or confirm the firmware flashed to the 4X10/5X10 is correct for the type Antenna/Remote being used. 5. Release the Valet button and Turn the ignition OFF.
thank you, apparently i was reading the instructions wrong, i watched your video and realized you have to continue to hold the valet button while pressing the remote. happy to have a working alarm again.

Can you look at the wires that go into your valet button and tell me what colors they are? I can not find a button so I am trying to trace all the wires from viper box.
Hey Fabian, thats a good question that I unfortunately dont have the answer to. I am guessing they would use their own personal signals so that people cant hack your alarm with another brand remote. But hen again their are only so many types of signals. So it may work with other companies that are using the same wavelength. Thanks for watching. i have 1 fob that auto starts both of my cars, how do i delete it from one of the cars, driving me crazy my nephew did this as a joke now he can't reverse it
With that said, i figured out how to do it. Here’s how: First, open and close the door. Second, put the key in ignition and switch it two places, where the next movement stars the motor. Don’t start the motor. Third, hold down the alarm system “noodle” button thingy underneath the steering wheel. Fourth, while holding the nipple button thingy, hold down the colored/asterisk/alarm button in the remote. After holding both for a few seconds, the alarm will be programmed. Done.
Bro all these videos have different directions and none of them work for me, it’s like this stupid alarm has to see you do twelve backflip cartwheels and then it lets you reset it
Read countless articles and how to’s, watch a few other videos with no luck. And figured it out within the first 1/3 of your video. Thanks.
I just watch the last 2/3 and I agree it needs more cowbell. Lol😂

What button are you pressing on the remote please?
What button do you push?????
Can you look at the wires that go into your valet button and tell me what colors they are? I can not find a button so I am trying to trace all the wires from viper box.
You don’t have three good alarms. You have three good remotes.
Do u think it works with different models or does it need to be only viper models?

Hey my guy my alarm is not responding. Is just solid blue light
Same here. Blue light is stuck on.
Never fix your problem bc i have the same problem if you do let me know thanks
How do u disable the alarm completely?
Do you know how to disarm a system like this for some reason my remote start keeps going off and draining my battery and I never use the remote start anyway could really use the help thanks
There is a black box under your dash you can either unplug the box or go to your battery and unplug wherever they wired the alarm into.
Good luck.
Hold what button ? There's 4 buttons on the remote ?????????
Right

You don’t even show what button on the remote and don’t even explain how many times you press the other button so irritating
i have 1 fob that auto starts both of my cars, how do i delete it from one of the cars, driving me crazy my nephew did this as a joke now he can't reverse it
I got 4 buttons on this remote we can’t see witch one you are pressing
How many times you ouch the bottom valet. , to bad video
I had one I stalled but it do t lock the doors anymore ? Is not even old ..but guys who I stalled it are rude don't wanna go there again
This is not a good video!
This is comically bad. Like an SNL skit making fun of someone making a DIY video on how to program the viper remote.
Duuuuuuummmb.
With that said, i figured out how to do it. Here’s how:
First, open and close the door.
Done.
Then all it needs is more cowbell and it's legendary then.
Bro all these videos have different directions and none of them work for me, it’s like this stupid alarm has to see you do twelve backflip cartwheels and then it lets you reset it
Worst tutorial on RUclips I've ever seen man
I hope you made enough money off this video to replace that shitbox you're driving. 😬
Not even enough to buy a new alarm. Lol
