What's my favorite Enter Sandman cover?
#VOB, of course. The original is the original, but VOB's version is heavier than the original. You can actually hear that growling bass. The vocals/lead guitar were awesome. And Siti, the drummer, gave Larse a run for his money. You all may disagree, but this just sounded better than the original. And I am a huge Metallica fan, by the way. #VOB ❤❤❤
Hey, great review of a great cover by one of the most important bands of the moment. In fact as of my writing this they've opened one of the stages at Glastonbury, which is mind blowing for them, as well as us fans. And interestingly, they did it without doing any covers, all originals, which I'm particularly proud of them for doing, as their original songs are very powerful statements on many relevant subjects.
Guys, you should react to this entire concert. You won't be disappointed. #VOB ❤❤❤

Hello again Guys and thanks for more VOB! There is an excellent recording of this song from their Live At Penny Lane session, where you can really hear the guitarist's (Marsya) slides in the intro and the truly thunderous breakdown (where, interestingly, the bassist, Widi, plays her solo with finger-style instead of slap). The song is here (it was removed from the original video for unknown reasons) ruclips.net/video/kb40gWxKNWo/видео.html Also, this version (Live in France) will be released on the Japanese version of Retas (CD and vinyl, coming this summer), so perhaps there will be some production work done on it. And don't forget to see them in London 26 June (Glastonbury is already sold out...)!!
