The duvet cover will be placed inside out and then you lay your comfirter on top, and then turn it right side out. If there are no corner ties on the duvet cover or loops on your comforter corners, this trick doesn't work, but you can purchase soft clips to hold the corners together inside. You can also just lay the duvet cover over your comforter like a thin bedspread when making your bed! Hope this helps

Great mixed haul, love the variety. Those vintage papers you showed before the pillow cases, those are actually mini scrapbook papers by Graphic 45, they do lots of vintage imagery and their papers are heavy duty. You can cut them up to decorate pages in your journal or make cards out of them if you don't scrapbook. Happy Sunday.
I would just use a nice blanket that's warm enough and then throw the duvet on top of the blanket that way if it gets too hot you could roll it down and those colors and the fluffiness I think would be awesome just a thought I'm planning on doing that with minus winter.
