    Fantastic Interview. It gave me some insight into Coach Sanderson's success. I would estimate many of these successful training methods came from Cael's father clear back in the early years. Thank you!

    "We're a wrestling team, not a track team." Dave Schultz told a story about the difference between a US and a Russian wrestling practice. Russians wrestled, fine-tuned technique, and wasted no time on conditioning. You get in better shape outside the wrestling room, before and after practice. The room is for technique and grinding.

    In jitz we call it flow rolling and it's a better workout than going love because you are moving way more when you partner isn't trying to stop everything

      @@patmartin4411 what I meant was I wonder what their overall strength program looks like, i.e. in season vs off season, frequency, tapering for key matches. I have had a chance to see other programs and they vary in approach.
