I loooove it! During my divorce my ex lied and lied. I never deleted my texts and I had texts to prove he was lying in everything he was saying. The judge sided with me.
The fact that the defendant expected a police officer to kiss his ass with (please/thank you/hade a great night 🙄😑) when HE was speeding and in the wrong!! Just sign the ticket, apologize since you were in the WRONG and keep it moving! The entitlement is bizarre. Calling and complaining is ridiculous. He’s definitely a “Karen”. Recording is the proof!
Any rudeness from the officer was only in the defendants imagination. He wasted the time of the Court and the police, but he certainly helped create a great JJ episode! 😅😂
Boy I’m glad the cop had an audio recording. The defendant looks stupid as hell right now talking about “Can I interrupt?” What could you possibly have to say? Liar 😂😂😂
very few people are "anti-police". They are anti-police corruption I absolutely support this officer in this case. I've also experienced some good encounters with cops, especially in my current town. However, one horrible encounter led to me being diagnosed with PTSD for about five years and this sociopath of a "cop" behaved unconstitutionally and unethically (and it's not just me talking. I consulted at least 20 legal experts, including someone who previously ran their Internal Affairs division, as in the same dept. with this offending officer. All of them concluded his behavior was illegal, horrific and highly unprofessional). Even with that experience, I'm not anti-police but I'm definitely anti-this officer (luckily I learned he retired a few years ago) and anti-officers who are like him. I also work as a paralegal so I'm in the legal field and have been around the ballpark. Trust me, it's not even close...this "cop" broke the law, plain and simple.
@cajayson8301 sounds like a lot of made up cope. you wont even call out a location, name, badge number. it's all made up. cops get called out all day on RUclips and you hide and cause this ptsd on yourself because you cannot handle the reality in front of your face.
This motorist did not like the fact that he got a ticket and made up his own wicked story where he revealed his evil intention, his lack of moral and character. He should have been penalized a lot more. We don’t need these kind of people in a civilized society!
Dude is such a liar. He was very polite, he asked for license and registration which he was handed (he didn’t rip it off his window), and he did tell him he pulled him over for speed and got him on radar.
Lol that cop was really professional with the defendant. Like JK said, they weren’t going to a party together. He was more than cordial, if a bit business-like and abrupt. Not rude at all.
Plaintiff lost me as soon as he said the officer banged on his window. *When you are pulled over you know ding-dang well that you are going to have to talk to the officer and the window needs to be rolled down (at least partially) in order to do so. Ole boy is an entitled, spoiled brat.*

@@JJPrizeDistributionComittee I agree. It's frustrating when she doesn't put the litigants in their place, but it's also really cool to see how the program has changed!

Seriously! Especially hearing the recording. This has to be one of the most entitled, vindictive AHs on the planet. Probably gonna try to get us fired now for laughing at him.
The defendant is just like my husband. He hears & sees something completely different then reality. Too bad I can’t have every conversation of ours recorded. Lol. I’d show him the proof that I don’t disrespect him or “treat him like 💩” like he claims. This defendant is delusional & wants the world to baby him. Wow!!! He must know my husband.

Love the people in the audience behind the defendant, laughing, shaking their head 🤣 Usually cops approach with guns drawn, shouting and cussing, then throw you on the ground face-first, handcuff you, taze you and beat you up. You count yourself lucky if you live to talk about it. This guy is outraged because the cop didn't thank him and tell him to have a nice day. Wow.
Anyone notice that in the camera shot of the defendant, he’s surrounded by 3 black folk who have probably been harassed by the police their entire lives!!! “He didn’t thank me for complying” The caucasity! Lol
He gave me a ticket and it made me so mad, I realized I wasn't going to sit down and take it! I mean, he didn't even say "Hope you have a good day" when he left!
🙄🙄🙄 Guess he didn’t know there was a TAPE. 😂😂😂 This is why I don’t understand WHY cops buck AGAINST videos and body cams because IF YOU ARE DOING YOU’RE JOB, it’s gonna either exonerate you or prove your guilt. In this case, this cop was proven, right from the lies that defendant told.
Only heard a portion of the recording but having heard defendants testimony and hearing plaintiffs and the tape , I believe defendant was being an ahole to the CHP officer but couldn’t get him riled up during the traffic stop. Believe me most cops if you show respect you’ll get it back, there are exceptions though.
I can't believe this defendant. Does he really believe a police officer is going to go ballistic and tear apart his car because he was ten miles over the speed limit? Sheesh.
The defendant is the definition of rich, male, white privilege. I'm happy to see JJ embarrass such a childish liar on an international level. He probably mistakenly believes that the police should only deal with drug users and black people. Speeding is serious, and costs peoples lives too. I'm glad the plaintiff chose to humiliate him via Judge Judy. Props to this cop for getting some sweet revenge!

LOL at the defendant when he said "can I interrupt?" as soon as the tape started playing 😂😂 he knows he's about to get it
Right! 🤣
Police didn't have to say thank you for complying, you were 65mph in 55mph area, just zip it and pay your ticket 😅
This pre-dates the "participation trophy" crap, so maybe those aren't making people soft after all?
