I bought a Toro this year in the book it says it’s a never oil change motor other than that how have std-bil and the directions say 2 to 3 drops per gallon am I doing wrong?
Hi Roger, Which Toro did you purchase? If it’s a 4 cycle engine then that oil should be changed after 50 hours of use and then gas treatment is used when storing the unit for the season. My advice is a 1/4 in a full tank of gas run the engine for 10 minutes and then shut it down. You can also check with your local Ace, as many of our locations offer end of season tune ups so your lawn mower is stored correctly and ready to fire up easier come Spring! If they don't offer this service, many locations have a preferred lawn mower repair person to suggest. www.acehardware.com/store-locator
Hi There, Participating Ace Hardware store's offer a service for lawn mower maintenance, you may want to contact your store to see if they offer this service: www.acehardware.com/store-locator You may also look into local dealers, like Toro, for instance has locations where they can look into the possibility of repairing. Hope this helps!
So basically watch another video on how to winterize a lawnmower.
I just run the machine out of gas and open the drain valve on the carburetor, it is one of the safest bets
How do you get the stabilizer out of the tank? My husband poured a whole bottle in the gas tank of the brand new mower....HELP!!!
Hi There-
