This song reflects perfectly the deejays, music, and programming of my hometown radio station in the 1970s and 1980s. WTCS AM 1490 in Fairmont, West Virginia was a unique gem among other radio stations in the Ohio Valley. Those were great times!

Yes, probably the Ramones and even the Sex Pistols were influenced by the Kinks. Do you also hear the bit of Beach Boys? I always hated them and doo wop until I realized I was hearing echoes of them in some Ramones songs!😊
