Best vocalist of this generation IMO by far
The reason Myles is so good at songwriting is becuase he writes for himself, this album was I'd imagine like therapy to work through his childhood. I also experienced the loss of my father at age 6 and it haunted me for a long time, unlike Myles I was finally able to understand why God took my father and the plan he has for me and find forgivenss. I pray Myles finds that someday.

I think Myles is one of the most gifted songwriters we have. This song feels like it was written specifically for me. I know that anxiety is a common mental health struggle but Myles is able to able to articulate the experience of living with anxiety in a way I never can when I try and explain what it feels like to people who don't suffer.
I love how real Myles is in his solo work. The songs are so vulnerable and they're just about a real person like me.
12 dislikes? Really? This isnt his best work when it comes to the structure of the song and composition, but this is a brilliant song. Furthermore, if you want an Alter Bridge vibe to it, dont listen to Myles Kennedy, listen to AB, just dont go disliking his stuff. There arent mny Myles Kennedys left in the industry these days. Appreciate the artists.

As for the structure, its just my view on this song, Im not a professional or anything but I do try and listen to music with a lot of heart and for me the lyrics felt was amazing but the progression didnt feel smooth. Maybe i need to listen to it a few more times to let it sip in. Again, the opinion of a Myles fan who is more emotional to this than professional.

If you look on Myles's youtube channel you will see a mini documentary about this album, it's a very personal album for him. Myles has a great voice, and heaps of talent, but above all he is a really nice guy 🕉

The tinnitus is his "noise inside", he and I, we both share the same haunting noise "by design".
It's freaking hard for a musician to deal with this damned noise in our ears 24/7.
