This series is heavily inspired from @Cimoooooooo Progression Series Due to me buying all of the packs, this one was a bigger investment than usual, If you would like more episodes, please like, subscribe and comment! it helps out a ton!
I think you should make the loser get something like in the master saga (from Dzeef). Could be 2 rare crafts, for example. Because otherwise the winner will amass advantage and alwayas have a higher chance of winning.
Thank god I'm not the only one bothered by that. After Rarran's reaction to Ecore not killing the Leper I thought for sure he was just as confused by the int. I even had to look up the card to see if they nerfed the dmg or sth.
I like how the cards packed previously still count in this video as well. I didn't realise that would be the case but it puts an interesting spin on the video, such as a useless legendary this time might have good synergy in a later episode.
For the discover mechanic, you could make it so you have to pick from sets that are legal, but if there are no legal sets you have to pick the earliest available expansion out of the options available
Here's an idea about the Discover mechanic (or cards in general that would generate cards from newer sets). Whoever gets a Discover card may disenchant it. For every 400 dust (or whatever you want to set) you may not craft a card, but buy a new pack. This way you keep the randomness and still avoid dead cards.
2:45 Every time i see hemet, the very first thing that comes to mind and lives rent free in my head since i watched it is Steevies amazing intonation of 'Ah, yes, today, i will destroy a beast!" from the episode where he rated the countess.
Rarran I already love your collaboration but this might be the best collaboration series yet (I love the voxy and sunny stuff cause I am watching them both)
Rarran i think is massively undervaluing mekgineer thermaplugg. Yes he's not the best but back then he could be backbreaking. Especially in arena which is pretty similar to what theyre playing. When so few ways to kill big minions immediately are in their decks those leper gnomes dying really add up.
Possible "prize" idea for winning that's not just more packs - winner gets to craft a class epic/legendary from the next set for a class they DIDN'T use in the previous episode or two. Might help to spice up the chosen classes and provides for some interesting build decisions.
Rarran missing ping leper gnome was bad, but Ecore also missed shadow madness into lightbomb to kill the leper on his side of the board on turn 9. Force tank would have survived, you just need to hit face with the other minion first
Love this series so much! I just wished you'd play out all 5 games regardless. In the end you can compare the number of all won games in addition to who won the sets.
Idea for discover, maybe you have to choose a card from a set that is currently allowed if possible If it's not possible a rule where you have to pick something that fits into an archetype that was available in one of your allowed expansions could help balance, but I can also see that being a little messy, But you guys as friends I'm sure could manage it. Otherwise the game becomes who has more/better discover cards in their drafts lol
Discover problem: you could make a rule that if it's possible, you take a legal card from discover, so you'd take a "future" card only if there was no other option. This would lower discover's power slightly but solve the problem almost completely
Fun series cant wait for more, chatting during the games definitely makes it a lot more fun What's your all time favorite deck/combo (ex jailer combos or shudderwock)
My man out here saying he doesn’t like Yugioh, but he’s still watching enough Yugioh content to know about Progression. You will bend soon Rarran. You may think you aren’t gonna go back to Yugioh, but nobody gets this far and goes back.
Honestly I think that some kind of limited use should apply to adventures too. I dont't know maybe only 1 set of cards or only 1 card per set but I think it would enhance the experience.
i think with discover later on you can make it so that you HAVE to take a card that's been released. If there aren't any maybe roll a die or pick but not use it? just a thought edit: loving this series btw Rarran! I've always wanted there to be a series like Yugioh Progression for Hearthstone and I'm glad you're the first one I've seen start it lol
What you could do for Adventures is that you both get to craft like 5 cards of your choice from each adventure? And maybe banning some specific cards if they would bee too auto-include.
There should be a way to get packs from previous sets (either with the winner getting those packs or with the loser getting a pity pack). It would add some excitement with being able to possibly open cards that you had previously "missed." Right now, the bonus packs just feel like a regular part of the opening since they're all from the same set.
i’m just thinking about what the boomsday and every expansion that came after it’s episodes, the game’s power creep constantly grew with each expansion
How i wish this was a limited format in hearthstone. A sealed format. Where everyone opens the same sort of and amounts of packs. Rotating which packs regularly and with a ranked ladder. I would be back into hearthstone instantly.
IMO you guys should crack open another set of classic packs at some point in this. When team aps did something similar to this with Yu-Gi-Oh, they and the viewers quickly realized that they needed more chances at core cards for the decks they were working with.
Lot of people are talking about rarran misplaying with the gnome but honestly the other guy had some very questionable decisions too. Like he could have won some of the games for sure
Commenting for the Algorithm. For Discover, honestly its really hard. The only way I could see is kind of an "honor" rule, where you don't just choose every card that runs Discover, and only run a few per deck. But the problem is you could just build decks entirely around it and probably win, but if you ban Discover you'll be missing out on HUGE sections of cards from every set past explorers.

18:45 ping your dude and win
rarran at the end of the last episode you said he got 5 more packs for winning not 3
Wouldn't it be fairer for loser to have more packs to open for catching up?
And just like progression people are complaining about the plays in the comments lol. This series is awesome, keep it up, don’t listen to complainers
I think you should make the loser get something like in the master saga (from Dzeef). Could be 2 rare crafts, for example. Because otherwise the winner will amass advantage and alwayas have a higher chance of winning.
Rarran not realizing he can ping his own Leper Gnome for lethal, pretty standard
Both actualy
it's funny how he even gave a speech about the turn and still don't realize about that play
@@simonterkelsen4732not that turn homie, the next one
it was painful to watch
His pal also could save himself by lifebombing lepper while control
When Rarran didn't ping the Gnome and Pinged face physically hurted me
When he healed to 4 I was so excited for you to attack with gnome and shoot it with your hero power. It's not a normal play though.
Still super funny seeing the "hmm deal 1 better than deal 2"
That play had me questioning the mechanics, I was wondering if my memory was wrong and you couldn't target your own stuff.
Ecore also misplayed as he could have played shadow madness into lightbomb the turn before to save himself
18:45 Could have pinged your own leper gnome for leathal, still a great series!
They both missed it somehow
I face palmed so hard when that happened I hurt myself
I got triggered soo hard when I saw that, but indeed a great series
Remember, he's not a good player, he's a content creator.
Thank god I'm not the only one bothered by that. After Rarran's reaction to Ecore not killing the Leper I thought for sure he was just as confused by the int. I even had to look up the card to see if they nerfed the dmg or sth.
The fact that both of them missed that pinging the pepper gnome is lethal is insane to me
I like how the cards packed previously still count in this video as well. I didn't realise that would be the case but it puts an interesting spin on the video, such as a useless legendary this time might have good synergy in a later episode.
my man you shoudl get into yugioh. there are two series waiting for you to be explored with this exact premise
Rarran never fails to timber my wolves with these videos
For the discover mechanic, you could make it so you have to pick from sets that are legal, but if there are no legal sets you have to pick the earliest available expansion out of the options available
That just defeats the point of Discover though; you end up not getting to choose which is the point of the mechanic.
Here's an idea about the Discover mechanic (or cards in general that would generate cards from newer sets).

I'm glad you're continueing this series!
I'm sad Hemet wasn't in any deck though...
Rarran I already love your collaboration but this might be the best collaboration series yet
(I love the voxy and sunny stuff cause I am watching them both)
For the discover solution I would choose whichever card is from the oldest set. That way it’s more close to “fair”
I just made this comment then saw yours lol. Fully agree. Limits the power level.
Hahaha great minds!

That last one he could have saved himself with Shadow Madness > Lightbomb one turn earlier
Been looking forward to this video!
17:50 not using baron to clear the small bois and then going face with the enforcer physically hurt me
Rarran casually missing the lethal in the mage game by pinging face instead of the Leper Gnome
really love this. card games shine the most in the casual formats where cards are limited like with this series.
As a fan of both ygo and hearthstone, I love this series! Keep it up! :)
I love this series. It is so much fun seeing u try new ideas and PROGRESS from vid to vid also I love ecore rarran duo
I love this series! Thanks for also having a chat after the games!
18:46 Missed lethal by just pinging the gnome. Keep up the great content Rarran
If you ever feel like you can’t hit legend just remember that Rarran did.
I waited for this! And I cannot wait for more, I love this series!!!
Rarran missing ping leper gnome was bad, but Ecore also missed shadow madness into lightbomb to kill the leper on his side of the board on turn 9. Force tank would have survived, you just need to hit face with the other minion first
i am so excited to see how this continues. keep up all of the amazing content rarran!
Can't wait for the Grand Tournament episode to literally just be a rematch of the GvG episode kekw
Love this series so much! I just wished you'd play out all 5 games regardless. In the end you can compare the number of all won games in addition to who won the sets.

Or just make it so that ilegal cards are not allowed to be played
Neither of you seeing the leper gnome ping lethal triggered me but im loving this series so far, very entertaining
I think the lesson from that last game is that sometimes it's correct to play your 10 Mana mind Control on their 1 Mana Leper Gnome...
The missed lethal at 18:30 almost gave me a stroke
love this idea!!! and format can’t wait for more
Discover problem: you could make a rule that if it's possible, you take a legal card from discover, so you'd take a "future" card only if there was no other option. This would lower discover's power slightly but solve the problem almost completely
I love this kind of content please keep with this series!
Love this series
18:43
Imagine being so out of touch you don't see pinging the Leper Gnome for lethal.
This is a very fun series, please keep it going!
Absolutely love this format ❤
Great series. Cant wait for the upcoming videos. Such a feelsbad though with the bad legendaries.
man, i love your videos, dont ever stop, cheers from Brazil!
Fun series cant wait for more, chatting during the games definitely makes it a lot more fun
What's your all time favorite deck/combo (ex jailer combos or shudderwock)
@Rarran For Discover cards, I think the rule should be you MUST pick the card from the earliest expansion (of the three cards offered).
When you discover cards even if it’s not the best card you have to pick the card from the oldest expansion possible to keep it fair
When it comes to Discover you guys could only pick cards that were released up to whatever expansion you're in
Damn that misplay from ecore was brutal
In theory the loser should get the extra packs as a catch-up machanic instead of the rich getting richer. But either way love the series :D
I wish HS had private lobbies where you can set certain rules or only some expansions like in the twist format
My man out here saying he doesn’t like Yugioh, but he’s still watching enough Yugioh content to know about Progression.

What like the winner opens an additional few packs from whichever expansion they won in addition to the set they are focusing on?
@@DemonMankeyMan Nah, you'd swap out the bonus packs entirely.
the top deck poly was def rarran channeling the spirit of cimo and his protagonist powers
i’m just thinking about what the boomsday and every expansion that came after it’s episodes, the game’s power creep constantly grew with each expansion
18:40 both players missing the ping leper pausechamp
With discover, if all the cards shown are from sets you don't have unlocked, you should try to choose the oldest card out of the options.
great series hope to see more!
This was amazing! ❤❤❤ wanna see more
Ecore casually running cards released in 2020 (Psychic Conjurer) 😂
with discover just make it a rule to chose cards form the setts that are alowed, if non are allowed allways take the oldest card
Damn that was an absolute masacre
Man the plays in that 🤣
Love this series rarran boyo keep up the good work.
Rarran just cant stop talking about implosion
fantastic series
I love this series keep it up!
How i wish this was a limited format in hearthstone. A sealed format. Where everyone opens the same sort of and amounts of packs. Rotating which packs regularly and with a ranked ladder. I would be back into hearthstone instantly.
We love commenting for Rarrans money sinks
Good work Mr Narrar :D
You guys should be able to get like one wing of an adventure every once in a while, like the bundle deals in Master Saga
League of explorers is an adventure so it might not matter if your skipping them
ecore just giving away the game instead of lightbombing the leper was a throw ngl
This is some Cimooo shit right now, fun series
I really like this series.
Awesome series
Rule for Discover : if it shows a card from the current expac or before, you have to pick it, otherwise pick the oldest card.
This series is so cool.
1:07 Pack Opening
4:21 Decks
5:33 Games
Rarran almost threw the 3rd game - if he had pinged his gnome at the end, he would've won a turn earlier.
this was fun rare Rarran W
IMO you guys should crack open another set of classic packs at some point in this. When team aps did something similar to this with Yu-Gi-Oh, they and the viewers quickly realized that they needed more chances at core cards for the decks they were working with.
I think the opposite is correct for this series, with each expansion comes more chances for something new to form
@@Rarran fs fs. Just my two cents, doesn't affect my enjoyment of the series. Thanks for chiming in :)
Lot of people are talking about rarran misplaying with the gnome but honestly the other guy had some very questionable decisions too. Like he could have won some of the games for sure
Moooooarrrr!!!🎉
I was starting to get worried that this series wasn't happening glad to see I was wrong!
hi I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the naxx out wordplay joke thing good job babe
I would say when it comes to discover, picking the card that either
1. Is the worst
2. From the oldest set
Both missing leper gnome lethal is incredible
Will you do caverns of time at the end? That would be fun af
Comment for algorithm, just want to say I love the series
Commenting for the Algorithm.

Rarran you should make a Hearthstone with no RNG video, no discover, no random effects no yogg, and etc.
Watching Rarran have the worst pack RNG is still the funniest thing.
20 packs should be the standard, regardless very fun!
