MASTERPIECE LWTUA will always be the greatest song , whatever your version . 12 years listening to her and never another song will occupy the first position . Thank you Ian .
I don't think this was meant to sound good. I understand that it was the band playing along to the mix that was released as the single in an attempt to get the right timing whilst they filmed the promo video. You can see on the official promo video that Curtis seemed to be having trouble replicating his own vocal and it looked like he was out of sync during some of the video. Also Sumner was out of time with his keyboard lines in the video.
LWTUA and Ceremony are my favorite JD songs. Joy Division FOREVER!
Ian was singing with his Heart & Soul...

i think the single version was slapped on the video version because of the quality of this one
A month and ten days before Ian died :(
Later...
20 days actually
Your upload of the re-cut music video based on this mix is gone! What happened? Was it taken down or blocked?
rather grim innit
shockingly dreadful G
That sounds dreadful.
it kind of grew on me
Who fucked up this song really?
It was overdubbed
