And regards to certain mechanics like the cold mechanic and stuff like that I know A lot of people would accuse me of ripping off the last of us and trying to make revenue evil into something else Which is not something I want to do but I do want to have a mechanic that Fits within the survival landscape because I want.
This game to have different challenges in a survival horror. Experience And the Mechanic is basically limiting the time you can spend outside trying to find different ways out and stuff like that.Because you do spin the later half of the game in the cold and the arctic which I did think about having the Prison/ base .Be there from the start Instead of just moving to a completely other location But.
I thought that wouldn't work as well anyways

The less protected you are And the more You are out Outside In the snow It's slowly Depletes But if you haven't arctic jacket Consider it like Is the body armor in resident evil 4 remake It
Is breakable but You can also repair it like a knife finding certain materials Or replacement if you're lucky

Dreamcast then a kinda directors cut called X on ps2
Sega Dreamcast. It's made to be played on the Dreamcast because it was originally supposed to be a Dreamcast Exclusive much like RE4 was meant to be a GameCube exclusive.
Or just do it like RE1 remake did for Re1.
They will removed 25% of the game and then sell it to you on a DLC, like RE4 2023, there i said it, fuck these remakes.
Code Veronica has the worse amount of backtracking in any RE game. Cutting some is warranted. Other than that I think it's short enough that they could easily keep all the main enemies and bosses, just make it more linear.
Hello friend, hope you are well. I have done a LOT of work on Code Veronica, so much so that I was the first one who understood the uniqueness of Code Veronica in ALL OF GAMING. Not to brag, but others call me the Claire Redfield specialist, especially when it comes to this game's story. Just about to hit play. Let's hear what you have to say.
I saw most of your video. I will focus on the main element of what makes Code Veronica what it is.
I take it you have not watched any of my Code Veronica work, because I hammer home the point with A MOUNTAIN of evidence that the PURPOSE of CVX mainly was NOT to reunite Claire and Chris. That reunion was a plot point.
The PRIMARY purpose of Code Veronica was to mentally BREAK Claire Redfield. If you didn't know, Steve ended up becoming THE MOST IMPORTANT person in her life outside Chris. Even as far as Death Island, there are references to "the effect of losing Steve on Claire's psyche". And CODE VERONICA is the game that did that.
If you DO NOT HAVE Claire mentally break after losing Steve, then you're getting a Game of Oblivion remake, and Game of Oblivion told a different character story compared to CVX, hell, Steve was even more of a pervert in that one compared to CVX.
If nothing else, then watch my Resident Evil Degeneration review, and witness just how severely Claire was hurt by losing Steve... (there's a part in Degeneration, where she hallucinates... after SEVEN YEARS of his death).

I definitely think a refreshed "defensive item" system from RE1R would work pretty well in this for sure, and i also think it would be cool if the Bandersnatches had an instant kill grab move kinda like Dr. Salvador from re4 that could kill you if you have no defense items....they could really go crazy with this remake!

One thing I'd like to point out, that has never been done, is that NOsferatu is blind,right, só it should be used in game. Like a small session/ area where you should pick up an item, or do some puzzzle without making noise so he won't instakill you. And, later, of course, a normal boss fight with him

The lgb"t"-virus game journo community are going to flip when this remake happens. For 1 of 2 reasons. 1: (and most likely) all the Alfred dressing as his sister stuff will be removed, or 2: it will be in the game and game journos will cry about it. Gender dysphoria induced duality could be real interesting for Alfred's character, but I don't think Capcom wants to step in that "modern audience" infested minefield.

I never said the game was bad I even stated I never played code Veronica.
Second thing is this is how I would do a remake of the game so first of all
And third of all it's my damn channel I think I'll make a damn video whether I like something don't like something or whatever I want to talk about
It's just fine if you like the game there's nothing wrong with that but I think I'll make content based on what I want to make thank you very much

Hell I still want resident evil 5 remake, resident evil 0 remake, resident evil code Veronica remake, resident evil 6 remake, resident evil 1 remake that's 5 remakes to keep Capcom busy for the next 10 to 15 year oh yeah they have to push put resident evil 9 and 10 ( if that's a thing by then) !!!
