to be honest, some of these features were available a long time ago in other apps, like the AE rotoscoping or the rest with plugins, but its impresing that they actually implemented those things into native premiere, saving time between bad optimized plugins or opening multiple video editing software at the same time wich can be very performance consuming. So lets be glad that adobe implemented this instead of hating cuz other programs have got that since a long time
I remember when I was first learning Premiere when I was 16 in 1998. We hosted a class of 8th graders who showed us the videos they were making in QuickTime Pro in their class. After they left we all sat in a circle and talked about the realization that those kids were going to be taking our jobs by the time we would be finishing college. Made it clear that you have to stay on the Frontline to be at the top.

Ohhh Vince. You are real superhero. I spent almost 10 hours for my 5 min first video and now i realized that there is very easy solution. You are foxing amazing. Thank you. I am very happy that I realized it in my second videooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how does the scene edit work for two audio sources? cuase I want it to focus on just the talk audio and ignore any oterh audio. right now im trying muting the track and see if that works
Has anyone tried Aux Machina yet? It's this AI photo generator that not many people seem to know about, but it's honestly a game changer! Super easy to use. No complicated prompts, and you can create custom visuals in seconds. Definitely worth checking out if you're into creating content. 🙌
These are some great features, and they are clearly easy to use. Glad to see Adobe adding a few things that have been on DaVinci Resolve and it's other competitors for a while.
Hey I am trying to use the scene edit detection but it does nothing after I analyze it. Is there anything else I should be doing? I am trying to remove dead footage.
does scene edit detection cut the clips if I am recording only in one place and there is only one scene. I wanted to know because I wanted to remove pauses in video. I tried but did not work for me.
Hi Vince, in Scene edit detection does it make the cuts only when you have speech in it? I am asking because i tried with no speech and it doesn't make any split scenes.
Thank you this is awesome. Do you know how to automatically remove word gaps (silences) with the transcribe tool in Premiere? I do it on Descript instead since I haven't figured out how to do it in Premiere.
Thanks for the video. I edit with Premiere a lot, so none of these were shocking. But since I'm replying from summer 2024, there more & more AI features are cropping up..
A Yo Vince! So if I AUTO TRAC/MASK, in Premiere Pro and then create a new AFTER EFFECTS COMPOSITION. Can i use is with ROTOSCOPE, since the mask is pre made?
Is there a way to do scene edit detection and have it choose the length of the video. For example, If my video was 5 minutes but I needed it to be shortened to 1 minute can it do that.
Great video! I recently got into Adobe Premiere Pro, and none of these AI tools are functional. I suspect Adobe has rolled back or discontinued support for its AI tools, as I've tried all of the suggested fixes for making it work with video clips. Not a deal breaker as I'm used to manually editing anyways, but it's a shame to see that the AI functions in this program no longer function.
I do think I get the grasp of this Premiere Pro a little bit, with just enough practice and reviewing back my notes. Thank you so much for such informative and fruitful tutorial! It is truly indeed a big help for my college course, now that our 2nd Trisem will resume next week 🙏💝
Hi Vince, very interesting tutorial and I have just suibscribed to your channel. I am looking for an additional feature and I can't find it in your page, it is this one: imagine you have a video - like from a film - where the person holds a sign with ABC written, how do I change that ABC to XYZ? Does A. Premiere Pro provides such capabilities? Thanks
I love your tutorials!... is there a way to automatically mix a series of videos based on their color label! lets say red blue red blue red blue, will be taken from the sequencer and put together in that order?
BTW, I see that you use a Shure SM 7B mic. Good choice. I have two of them, very smooth response not high output though. A lot of my recordings are made with SM 57's or 58's for musical events. Have a Shure drum set components. I do the sound reinforcement at the local senior center. Been doing it for ~ five years. Drama and singing groups are the main events. You seem very familiar with video productions, how long have you been doing them?
So I am working in the BETA because I wanted to explore Text Based Editing. I tried scene edit detection on a talking head video and it did the full analyses but yielded zero results, nor sub-folders, etc. Do you think it's not working in BETA? That would be weird, right?
So when I try the scene edit detection, after taking the full amount of time to analyze the clip, it comes out the other side with no cuts (there are plenty of pauses between dialogue in the original clip that should've been cut). Does anyone know why that's happening?
I think the scene edit function doesn't cut and edit out the pauses of a long clip, what it does is just cut a already edited video back to its 'pre-rendered' cut version just in case you still need to edit something out of it. From the adobe page - "When you need to create a new edit of a longer video, separating it back into the original shorter clips is the first step". So it doesn't cut out anything new it just cuts out when the scene changes. You can tell in other video tutorials how the total time of the video doesn't get shorted which should happen if it is actually cutting away the pauses.
Vince, I posted to you my situation but forgot to let you know the audio system that I'm going to use. My Video will be a Canon G1X Mark III camera. My audio would be recorded on a Tascam DR40X digital recorder. Hope that helps you figure out my situation Btw, what part of the country do you live in?

Great video man!
Such great info! Wow thank you!
Do you think we can use it for jumpcuts?
Good tips! Where to you get your overlays from?
Wow! Thank you so much for this tips!!!!
Thank you for creating this video 💪🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
Adobe should use AI to help make Premiere more stable and faster in addition to adding yet more features.

Thanks bro! Btw nice music in the background!!!🎵
Hey I am trying to use the scene edit detection but it does nothing after I analyze it. Is there anything else I should be doing? I am trying to remove dead footage.
Same here. No changes after analyzing
Good vid man!
Nice Thanks.
I could have saved so much time and headaches in the past hahah 😢 - thank u great vid
I’ve been trying this scene edit detection and once it analyzes it nothing happens is there something else I need to do for it to work?
same here
Same here it’s not working for me, anyone know why that is ?
Love this! Thank you!

Great video Vince! 😊
Wow, thanks a lot for this heads up bro

Nice watch! :D (And great tips of course!) 😀
Wish I would have seen this sooner. I just spent all kinds of time shortening a song. TY!
What type of mycrophone do you use?
awesome, thank you so much for this video!
Thank you for the rundown! Super excited to use these at work!
Did they change the trackingfeature? I remember it is there for a long time
When I use the Scene Detection mode after analyzing nothing happens?!?
Nice example of the remix tool. I always wondered what that did. #2 is dope too. Scene added detection. I will be trying this.
Big Thumbs Up 👍
This Amazing!
what are the specs necessary to run adobe premiere well for analyzing a lot of clips or streams?
Thanx
Wonderful, this will make things much easier, and I'll not be dead by the deadline
U deserve more love
Hi Vince, in Scene edit detection does it make the cuts only when you have speech in it? I am asking because i tried with no speech and it doesn't make any split scenes.
Is this a plug in? Add on? Or does it come with the new edition?
BALLER💣 THANKS
Thank you this is awesome. Do you know how to automatically remove word gaps (silences) with the transcribe tool in Premiere? I do it on Descript instead since I haven't figured out how to do it in Premiere.
This is amazing!
Super fun! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Scene edit detection doesn’t work for me 😢
Thanks for the video. I edit with Premiere a lot, so none of these were shocking. But since I'm replying from summer 2024, there more & more AI features are cropping up..
Can you apply scene edit detection to multiple clips at the same time as part of a video podcast interview?

Would the ai cutting help with music videos?
VERY GOOD!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you again for this informative video
Happy new year! Got a lot of new stuff coming on the channel :)
@@vinceopra Can't wait and thank you for inspiring us with your videos 🥰
oh wow. theres no way adobe did this months ago. thanks for the vid, time to make a comeback on youtube!!!!
Are these features available on the mobile app? I edit in my iPad Pro.
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
thanks for the remix tool. Subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
The tracking feature was there since forever.
I used to do it when I want to blur car plates or people that don’t wanna be in the videos.
I do think I get the grasp of this Premiere Pro a little bit, with just enough practice and reviewing back my notes. Thank you so much for such informative and fruitful tutorial! It is truly indeed a big help for my college course, now that our 2nd Trisem will resume next week 🙏💝
Great to hear!

This is amazing stuff! Thank you! Also, I like your background setup.
Nice i needed this editor so bad atlast someone telling how to get this for free
Hi Vince can you please tell me whats the name of those Filters that you put on this video thanks in advance! BR Uciel
How can we be one of the part of AI system..how to work together .
how about AI for color grading on Adobe premiere Bro?
Will all videos begin to look alike? tHanks for the video.
I have never tried scene detection, i will give it a try. Larry
its not working on premiere for some reason.
the remix tool is insane
Thank you Vince! Haven't thought that tracking is also AI! 😅
can you track an object to your film bro?
sadly mine doesn't work do you have an idea why? i have the option but analyze but don't cut
The scene edit is so good, exactly what I am looking for
"perfect cuts" is an overstatement. It is useful but you still need to put in the work and fix the cuts AI makes for you
do we call this AI or just features that we should have had all this time?
getting annoyed at how EVERYTHING is AI now...
So fort scene edit detection it Is setting cuts for me but it isn't cutting anything out. the video is as long as it was before.
Does Premiere pro 2019 have this kind of features?
BTW, I see that you use a Shure SM 7B mic. Good choice. I have two of them, very smooth response not high output though. A lot of my recordings are made with SM 57's or 58's for musical events. I’ve been editing for around 7 years but more seriously 5 years
Does anyone know of a editing app that uses AI to put in a Number counter every time I say a word or phrase?
you mean tracking has improved or has become ai-powered? i didn't notice any difference from what it did before ai
So I am working in the BETA because I wanted to explore Text Based Editing. I tried scene edit detection on a talking head video and it did the full analyses but yielded zero results, nor sub-folders, etc. Do you think it's not working in BETA? That would be weird, right?
is this on 2022 version ??
How did you make it work? it doesnt work anymore
So AI extensions are not really needed?
Lets say i want an emoji tracking ur face how would i do that with the help of auto tracking
Scene Edit Detection does not work as of today.
That tracking feature is pretty useful. Too bad every Premiere effect is useless. This stuff is scary and exciting at the same time.
you f***ing blew my mind. So many hours i could have saved

I live in Hungary right now, btw not sure what you mean in the first half of your comment
