Hi Datuk Wong, i stumbled upon your channel by first watching the interview with Mydin and then this episode back to back. I just want to thank you for doing this. It does sound the issues that we are facing is deeply entrenched in the system. In many ways, im hopeful, but it sounds like to fix the system is quite difficult to do.

All these interviews with the so called stalwarts to solve Malaysia's present day problems just reeks of so much hypocrisy. Tun Mahatir, Tan Sri Rafidah and Tan Sri Nazir were all involved in events that has brought the country down to its knees. Somehow speaking up now and not then when you could have stemmed the rot just seems too easy. Maybe a reformed Tan Sri Muhyidin could be giving valuable advice on news channels ten years from now.

These bunch of fools were the same ones that brought discrimination, corruption and illegitimate political practices to the Country. After ruling the country for so long and ruling in the wrong way now they suddenly becomes saints. These bunch of hypocrites are just lucky because those days they didn’t have something called social media as an information platform. If u remember those days they controlled everything from News papers to TVs to Radios. Sof course people wouldn’t know their dirty habits. But that doesn’t meant they’re any better. Cause if u do some research im very sure u can find a billion and one things to point out about these people such as Tun M, Datuk Nazri, Tan Sri Rafizah.
THESE SO CALLED SAINTS ARE THE ROOT CAUSE OF DISCRIMINATION, RACISM, AND CORRUPTION IN THIS COUNTRY. IT WAS FINE BEFORE TUN M AND HIS DIRTY ENTOURAGE TOOK CHARGE AND MADE A NEW NORMAL OF BAD DOINGS WHICH WAS THEN JUST FOLLOWED BY OTHERS ALL THE WAY TILL NOW

Of Course Indonesia and Malaysia started the Rot from the start of Independence..Indonesian and Malay agenda.. All the help focus on the majority. The minority are marginalized... So created Rasuah Government..Without Race Agenda, this Rot will not happen.. Now we are looking up to Singapore.. They are now No 4 richest country in the world based on GDP per capita.. Malaysia has all the natural resources that can make Malaysia the richest country...Malaysia's regret now is we got rid of Mr. LKY who set up the right Governance for her country..

Mahathir had the opportunity to do the right thing when he ruled for 22 years and had 2/3 majority but he didnt. He wanted to continue flaws that allowed his party to continue ruling M'sia even though the reforms is. Why? Coz reforms will make him out of his comfort zone and might also open up the politics in malaysia to other political parties. Hence TDM He didnt do what was needed, neither did his successors. Badawi who enjoyed the highest popularity vote in the GE, tried, but was removed by his own party members. Anwar cannot be trusted, he and like all other AMNO politicians built their own careers thru these flaws. Most of them (with the exception of a few) were neither knowledgeable, wise, nor capable, which were then fully expose when the pandemic came. Its very expensive nowadays to get votes, u need to give the rakyat money, which is not a healthy practice, politicians only rise when their supporters are given all sorts of things....and guess what, these things dont fall from the skies.....so in the end the rot is from the people itself. Those receiving and those giving, those who are chauvinist, those who talk more than work and those who only think about themselves and their riches.

Agree with TS Nazir views. Spot on analysis. Wouldn’t fault him for not speaking about his brother’s issues and truly appreciate his courage in speaking the real and sensitive issues. However for the super taxing of super rich, Question -would the super taxes paid be diluted at every layer of bureaucracies. Worry - would this potentially another corruption avenue?. Unless the country is truly reformed, for now it’s better to reached out to trustworthy NGOs so help is really channelled to people in need, regardless of race and religion. Kudos and respect to TS Nazir for doing his part.

good discussions. my personal views: 1, malaysia is alr hancur. 2. the current n future government should immediately launch to investigate n to recover back all the corrupted money / assets from all the alligators. (it is rather unfair to tax on windfall tax --- why punish these corporates? ). why don't punish the alligators?

Windfall profit for palm oil companies, my dad remembers that well. His recollection is, "not much help from the gov, just a lot of taxes when times are good". As one of the few, if not only independent bumi palm oil miller, he doesn't have much love for the gov. in this respect. But on the other hand the glove companies are literally profiting from people's misery and not willing to help, so tax them more I say.

Thanks for good talk datuk seri wong n razak n tansri johan
Datuk seri razak made some good points which i agree with
To reform reset, everyone has to transform and go for diversity
The current.mindset of umno PAS, dap mca etc all set in their own low level thinking, how to get more for ourselves as fully exemplify with current all malay cabinet for malaysia
Malaysia still prosperous country with many valuable natural resouces
At end of day, v have to trust in the King of Malaysia, who really have heart for all msians for eg look at sultan of brunei, good works done in brunei tat preserve diversity n respect sll races color...

I was with cimb last time, and 1st time i saw Datuk Seri was in Bangkok while we were reforming the major banking & IT roadmap for cimb. Yet today, this is the very first time I do actually very patiently spent my time listen to what he said.
Anyway, about the very last part, yes this 3 musketeers did mention needing to retain enough numbers to backing the challenges along the journey of steering Malaysia to the right path. However, as a M40 myself, working overseas and earning foreign currency maybe a more fruitful choice to help myself and my family. In turn, as a M40, stays back here, whatever we are earning, majority portion are just sucking back by the govt, it is very struggling situation we may have to face if for long term. If there's better way, we would not have chose to leave our home nation, tbh.

One way to eradicate rural poverty is to encourage Bumis to cultivate Musang King.It is ironical that despite its years of proven popularity and high export value, no relevant agency had made any constructive suggestion for it. We are wondering what role and responsibility is the Ministry of Agriculture despite been allocated Rm 4.9 billion in 2020 national budget.
Rural Bumis have plenty of idle land manpower. Stay focus and this is just one of the many ways to achieve NEP success. Interested bumi farmers can begin with interest free loan from Dato Sri Nasir.

“Party of youth “ will be great to encourage the youths participation in politics. Unfortunately look at what is happening to Syed Saddiq… he has been harassed etc by the ruling parties … a lot of us knew that this would happen because he formed a new youth related party which was multi racial and innovative in nature. Unfortunately he is unable to register the party . This is what power politics is all about . The youths should not be brainwashed to think in one direction only .Malaysia needs critical thinkers who can bring the country forward, not otherwise . I believe that youth leaders like Syed Saddiq and other youths will be able to do this in the future .

We do love our Malaysia, but let's face it. Our politicians are too deeply rooted in greed and hubris, no matter what we tell them, they don't care! Look at Zahid, saying that 'one foot is in hell as soon as one becomes a politician' when criminal charges were brought against him. They use Islam to justify their crimes! And as soon as Muslims like us call them out, we become the bad ones, because we're "pitting Muslims against Muslims", or some apocalyptic message is raised, that it is end times so corruption is rampant. And as for DAP, I worked with parliamentarians for many years, I saw with my own eyes how racist DAP politicians are. They sneer at us, Malay officers as if we are filth. So they are no better. Its the same ol' same ol'.

All these talks normally will be just talks. The only solution is for the younger leaders to change the current scenario, which is created by many of these current political leaders which never really care for the future of this nation except their families and immediate supporters. We all heard the story of how Norway keeps their oil resources to preserve their national interests when this commodity is exhausted and its demand would be in decline henceforth. Where do we stand? They had a reserve of over US$1 TRILLION and what do have?
Hence, it is so obvious that we are even deemed to be a failing state today! Unless basic economic policies are followed, you can't progress. Just look at mighty USA today! They think they have the power to do as they like; like printing money whenever their Congress says so!! We are in the similar situation with a PM literally running all the ministries through the PMO. And of course, this is supposedly democratic as long as GEs are held as scheduled! Our only hope is the up-coming GE if the newer set of politicians can take over!

"calming racial tension" ..... at the expense of non-Bumis isnt calming.
"1969 the system collapse.." and I wonder why (snigger)
"Loans without interest, profit. Pay back the capitol in the next 12 to 18 months..." Do you also apply the standard criteria as banks to grant the loan? and secondly , Good luck in recovering the Capitol regardless of the economic status in the near future. A look at attitudes of PTPTN and other 'handout' loans repayments says a lot and loudly. The 20% default rate is too conservative. I'm not biased just expressing experience.
