- Hey guys!! :) Today I'm chopping off my LONG hair into a SHORT jaw-length bob!! This is something I would never think to do, but after a year & 1/2 of growing out my natural hair colour, i just wanted to chop it off! As someone with "chubby" cheeks, I never thought I'd be able to pull off this haircut, but I saw other girls with more round faces like Miranda Kerr and Lucy Hale look amazing with it, so I decided to go for it. Hope that if any of you are thinking of it too, to just do it because life's too short :) Hair will always grow back! I'll also be bringing you with me on a little vlog to Manchester, getting Tim Horton's (since when was this here???), shopping for new jewelry for my lip piercing, going to the Asian market, etc.

It actually looks the so cute when it's curly! The volume it has really works with your face shape. I think it's just a matter of getting used to seeing yourself with short hair, it looks really cute 😊

The way a gasped and clicked. I think it makes you look like a cute French girl both straight and naturally curly. I did this last year and it just forced me to get creative with my hair and love my face shape. I hope you learn some new things in your hair journey. Love you girl! 🌸💕

So I did it. Because of this video I did it. My hair was so stringy and breaking off. I chopped off 8 inches yesterday and am growing out my natural because of YOU! You’re literally such an inspiration and I’m so glad I found your channel!

When I had a short bob, I started using the revlon round brush blow dryer. It adds volume while also smoothing and straightening it. They have RUclips videos that show how to do certain things with it. I totally recommend.

It looked so cute curly! Girl, the cut suits you. You're probably just not used to it because like you said you've never had short hair. So it's new and will take getting used to and learning different styling techniques but it definitely looks amazing on you and I think it suits your personality and aura!

It’s chic & sophisticated- I just chopped 9 inches off last night & now have a bob I need to adjust to. It’s jarring to say the least - but it will grow & we only live once - I’m thinking of going real crazy & doing different colors - so relatable when you said what did I do😂 I felt that

You look great with just letting the bob go sleek and not curling it. I just got the same cut a few days ago and with foil highlights. I tried both having it sleek and then curling it, just to compare. A shorter bob looks best when allowed to swing! Just use your blow dryer and curling brush to dry so it can fall into place with fullness. A couple drops of hair serum, maybe a light spray and you're good to go. So much easier and faster than when you've got long hair!

You look so pretty. It gives me such 20s flapper vibes that suit your face sooo well. There's always a bit of a struggle when you majorly change your hair because you have to have time to understand how to style it the best. When I first cut my hair really short as an adult after growing it out the longest it had ever been I freaked out. But after a few days I LOVED it because I got into the groove of it and YES it changed my whole vibe, I felt more confident and "with it" lol. Feeling my hair move WITH my head instead of staying put made me feel like a boss lol! I was like can't tell me nothin', I'm on another level bitches. 😆 A big part of me misses the short hair and I'm sure I'll do it again someday. But my newest big change has been going blonde from dark brown ☺️ it's been a blast changing things up again, I love it. Hair is so fun. Enjoy the short hair life, you're gonna love it 😄

I have always wanted to do a bob but I gained weight and so it won’t look flattering with my chin fat 😔 but you really pull it off! You have such a nice jaw! The reason why people look and probably are nicer to you is because (in general) people are subconsciously more respectful towards people that well groomed. Your clean cut hair is what makes people turn heads because it exudes confidence!
Also! I rather you do time lapse and vlog back and forth because it personally keeps me watching and not get distracted as much compared to just time lapse and then vlog- I tend to doze off during vlogs if they go on too long 😬

You look absolutely adorable and modern and chic, definitely more youthful 🤗. And I kinda really like where it's curly, too. Good choice on going even shorter than the first cut. My hair used to be a bit longer than yours before your haircut, then I got cancer and lost all my hair. I completed treatment in February of 2020 and my hair grew so fast! By that Summer it was a cute wavy bob, much like yours 🤗. It's been my favorite hair length ever! It's longer now, about mid back but it's so fine, I always have it up, for convenience mostly. I do miss my little bob. And I like the idea of a time lapse of your hair color first, then vlog ♥️🥰... I can't wait to see it 😘

I've had a bob hair cut for more than three years and I even went blonde from brunette and let me tell you, I love bob hair soooo soooo much and It never fails that I get compliments for my hair🙈👍🏻👍🏻 you look great and it suits you very much😍
You were ready for a good haircut but what a surprise! So much got chopped off but you look amazing. Ny keen new stylist gave me something similar a few months ago but with an undercut to help it sit better. Last week she persuaded me to go to a pixie and I’m really happy with it.

My hair is super straight and thin too, so I understand your pain. I don’t even bother attempting to curl it because my hair just does not hold it. You look GORGEOUS. I have the same lenght I just cut it a bit more a while ago, but I have had a bob for years now. Looking back at pics where I have longer hair I don't like that at all, the short cut suits me a lot better and i probably will not ever let it grow back to long. My hair is also quite thin so if its long it just looks like a rat tail haha. If i feel like having long hair sometimes that actually would look good, I wear a wig that I have. But seriously, you look absolutely amazing. 💕
For thin hair, above shoulder bobs are usually perfect.

I just cut a jaw-length bob myself! To even out a growing out undercut. I did add layers since I have naturally curly hair and I love it, but I've had short hair for years, so I've decided to grow it out to waist length again. But you look great!

I've been growing my hair out, too and had it almost the same length as yours until one night I could no longer stand the dead ends (felt like an itchy sweater around my neck lol) so asked my hubby to chop off a few inches. He was so scared to do it lol but it was fine & like instant relief.. I am itching for a bigger change and your short cut has me SO tempted to do a chop! I do want to try perming it first because I think wavy/curly hair is just gorgeous, and I'm naturally straight. I say.. do the full time lapse either at the very beginning or end of your next video

Hey Megan, you are so pretty it really doesn’t matter what haircut you get! All looks good on you! I wish I could do the same with my long hair but I don’t think it would suit my face. I really like how you styled it with one side tucked behind your ear. Since you made the leap, I think this is a chance to get more creative and try new things. Next, I would recommend you try to do loose curls using an ironing wand/curler for volume & see how it looks if you change where you part your hair. Good luck! 💛

I love how your hair turned out! I honestly think if you got a Dyson Airwrap, it would really help you style your short hair! It helped me become more confident with doing my hair when it was shorter and made it have so much more volume! Never have I regretted buying it 👍🏻
