I watched few of your videos and I keep coming back. Great job and interesting content. I must say you're featuring beautiful sports cars...but I'm a die hard MOPAR guy, the sound of a Hemi puts a smile on my face. If you're looking for HP and high performance, nothing comes close to MOPAR.

Just a suggestion. Find a dyno you like and use the same one for your references. There is just too many variations from dyno to dyno, especially mustang to Dyno Comp or Jet etc. :-) Love the vids!

If your not using the same dyno your numbers will never be consistent. Every dyno reads different whp numbers. Some high some low, especially on the Mustang dyno
True. Pulls on the same gear remain the same. #'s can be plus or minus a few HP. First dyno is MIA and the second dyno had the worst single entrance and not friendly to low cars. This will be my home dyno moving forward. I will dyno again with JLT, Proflex and True E85 next time.

I personally use a dyno jet. The difference in hp can be as much as 50hp when comparing mustang dyno to dyno jet. So pick one spot and stay there. Glad you found a shop you like that is very important as well.
The stock dyno I did was the only dyno jet roller I ran on. The other two were on mustangs. Sticking to this place to keep things in order. Thanks.
Woman.Driven Sorry Doris. But you are comparing oranges with apples. Doesn’t matter if is the same gear as the dude said all dynos read differently even if they are of the same type. If you saw gains between one sheet vs the other they are meaningless. Sorry.

I'm glad to finally see Dyno-Comp's shop. We installed one of their Stage 3 kits on an '06 Subaru Forester XT that we used to have. Really woke it up. With a 93 octane canned tune, it was probably making ~400HP at the crank. It could blow the doors off a Porsche Macan Turbo and outpace a C5 Z06. (Ask me how I know. haha) We just got a new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, and I'm thinking about getting another tune from them for the Cayenne. Glad to see it's a nice shop. You always have useful content! LOL
Their shop is very clean and spotless lol. A lot of great cars. I loved how helpful and knowledgeable they are. That is a mighty fast forester. Sarah-n-Tuned would be proud to see the car blowing off the doors of a Macan lol. Glad you enjoyed. Take care and have a good day.

Nice comparison with the previous dyno results. I used to work right by Dyno Comp, they always have sick rides out front. If a place is capable of doing 911 turbo awd dyno tuning... they know what they're doing!

good video but if you switched Dyno's, the numbers won't matchup. dynos all read different
True. I will stick to this dyno moving forward. But I think it's safe to say my car isn't making 488whp on just 91 octane lol. The kit works either way to make power. I'll take it back with a higher reading of ethanol and the JLT intake to see if I make more.

I think the TR-3160 4th gear is 1.24 to 1, and 5th gear is 1 to 1. I made 452 RWHP and 425 RWTQ on that same dyno with the same owner :) He is cool as hell. I agree the shop is clean and the dudes there are very professional. I learned that my stock C5 clutch doesn't like dyno pulls as well lol...it slipped on my runs. Very nice car!

The Tremec website lists 5th as 1 to 1.00, but like you say consistency is what's most important. Nice to take your JLT off for true results. Very thorough! I've also heard of other issues with the Lund tune until you reach operating temperatures as well.
Yes. I've read that and read forums as well. But considering people still dyno in 4th and others in 5th, I gave up and just stuck to 4th. Plus I almost never go into 5th when racing lol. 4th gets close to 140mph. Other than the cold starts and rough idle till temp was good. Lund was fine. But I do feel the proflex is way smoother through the rev range.

Hi Doris, awesome video as always 😊 I was wondering how much did the Flex Commander add over the stock setup? Also, do you think it will still add more power over the tune or do the gains from the tune eclipse it because of the timing changes?
It depends on the car really. Dyno the car stock to figure out a baseline. Then add the proflex and dyno. The amount you again will be the on the ethanol percentage of the fuel. Mine was 53%. The higher the rating, the more power. As for adding the JLT intake with the 91 octane tune, I will find out what gains are made with that. Since that tune is 91, no timing changes. It's mainly for the MAF reading from a larger diameter intake. But I'm looking to add a much higher ethanol content as well. So we'll see.
@@woman.driven Thanks for the detailed info. I am confused on the tune part... so on the 91 octane tune, they don't change your timing at all, they only adjust the MAF readings? Also, do you know if the proflex would work the same way when using higher octane gas instead of E54 or E85? For example, 95 octane or 98 octane? Over here, I have a little more access to higher octane gas than I do to E85.
I don't think it works like that. Detecting ethanol content is different than detecting high octane fuel. High octane fuel is also a lot more expensive so it makes more sense to use ethanol.

And on a serious note as someone who's been a Dyno operater for many years in my time please be careful standing behind any car on a pull if a stone flies out the tyre and hits you you'd know all about it.. And as many will probably say in comments you can't really compare Dyno figures from different dynos, try to stick to one for all your compare modifications for accurate results.

Hey! I feel they are worth it to be honest Especially since you don't need a tune. Safer way to fun E85 and a smoother delivery, I like it. I will put back the JLT intake which needs the 91 octane tune. Run full E85 and take it back. Curious to see what proflex will put down with the help of JLT and a higher ethanol content. Thanks for watching.
@@woman.driven I would think it should still help, especially when you get less than perfect fuel. Protection for the engine, as well as optimizing the performance by not having detonation/misfires... I'm not sure how that works exactly with a tune that is already trying to maximize safely... probably just corrects any "mistakes" and stays out of the way otherwise...

hi Doris, impressive torque on this tune. Not sure why you changed your cold air intake but would be nice to test it both ways. I also noticed you didn't seem as happy and content as you've been in others, I hope everything is ok, but still love the video and impressive torque numbers!
I wanted to try and isolate the proflex to just that. This way, the results will be more or less for any stock GT350 that only wants proflex. I will add the intake with a higher octane rating and dyno again. Everything is fine. The dyno was really early in the morning and I wake up at 3am for work. Just a little tired lol. Thanks for asking.

Like yourself, I'm surprised but very pleased with the Dyno results. I wonder what you would get with the aftermarket cold air kit on as well? I'm trying to recall what you did to the exhausts. I know you tossed the resonator and installed an X-pipe, but did you go with headers as well? Your GT350 sounds downright angry! Just love it! 😀
I will see what the gains will be with the cold air and a higher octane rating soon. I will dyno and report on that. As for exhaust, just the resonator delete. Thanks for watching. The sound is amazing.

I say go for it. I prefer it over a lund tune, but I need lund for the intake. E85 is handled by the proflex and ecu.

Were you running E85 before adding the Proflex Commander? Because I think most gains are from switching from gas to flex fuel. If you are tuned and already using flex fuel then I don't see the Commander adding any power.

Hey doris wassup, i want to get your thoughts on your new car getting tuned and performance mods and voiding your warranty, i know financially you can probably take the hit if something was to happen to your car, i have a modest 5th gen camaro ss that i got used with an extended warranty but watching videos like yours makes me want to get some go fast parts, i’m kinda torn, should i or should’nt i, if my warranty gets voided I’m always going to worry about the car, by the way love your videos, always waiting for next one
I'm in no position to take that kind of hit lol. But you pay to play and I know the risks. Nothing I'm adding to my car is bleeding edge. The mods have been tested by countless others with no issues. So I'm not really worried. Warranty is an issue if the part in question was modded or attached to a modded part. It will not void your engine car. Plus, people usually remove the mod, put the stock part back and take it in without issues. Stick to what others have used with success. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
