It has been over 20 years, and he has not changed at all (I know this via our daughter.) He manipulated a local pastor into ordaining him and then proceeded to 'steal' half of that pastor's congregation and start his own 'church'. He never had a real job in his entire life (he worked in recreation for the local govt office; he literally got paid to play basketball and the like with teenagers. For narcissists, it is ALL about ego, money, power, and 'fame'. To this very day, my ex lies about me (it is a small town so it gets back to me sometimes.) And this is my snapshot example of my (I would wager as correct) theory as to why Brittany and their son are forced to live outside the marital home....Jax is refusing to leave and it is the only way Brittany can get away from his emotional (I hope it is not physical as well) abuse . To Brittany: Do as you will, but please know he will NEVER change. Research narcissistic abuse, and I guarantee you will feel like you could have written most, if not all, of what you read.
