    I read that you are supposed to have your woodstove no more than 12 inches close to the wall, if the wall is brick, and there is a 1" gap of dead air space between the brick and the wall behind it. This build looks wonderful, by the way. I just wanted to leave some safe and helpful tips in case others are looking at doing a similar project. Great job!

      Thank you! We went with the gaps between the wall and the wood stove recommended by the manufacturer, followed their measurements religiously since we were very afraid that we will mess something up. First time installing anything that has to do with fire so we went better safe than sorry ☺️

      It's MBS Happy wood stove, but I think they are available only in Europe

      It's solid brick from old houses that were torn down, cut into slips 😊
