Drill A Clean Hole In Plywood With A Spade Bit

In this video i show you the method i use for making cleaner holes in plywood with a spade bit. The trick is to drill from both sides.
If you drill straight through plywood the spade bit will break a lot of the material on the last sheet of ply that you drill through.
I am using a Cordless bosch drill for this demonstration.

I'm thinking that for 3/4 inch plywood if the point doesn't go through when drilling half way, I'll use a small bit like 1/8 inch to go through to give me a guide for finishing the hole with the spade bit from the other side.
