Very interesting, clever folding idea and use of aluminum cards!
Thanks! The cards have been really handy for things like this, and for quick alignment jigs because they're so easy to cut.
Ingenious 🙂
I have bought a Laser engraver just a cheap one to try out it will be here in a cpl of days I will upload a video soon 👍😎
Great! Wait till you get it, you'll be trying to laser everything in sight 😁
@@imajeenyus42 I hope it works well I will let you know 👍
That’s an amazing machine you have Lindsay very interesting video thanks for sharing I take it you can do all kinds of material’s like wood for instance 👍
Thanks, it's been a real eye-opener! Wood is actually one of the things it has trouble with, it's relatively transparent to the laser wavelength and not much is absorbed. I do have a CO2 cutter which will do any organic stuff (wood/plastic) but it's not as fast as this.
Excellent video, would you care to share the settings you used and your machine specs? example: JPT/Raycus, 30W vs 50W, etc.
Thanks! Just added info to the description.
What model laser cutters do you have? Thanks. Any suggestions for a good engraving machine?
I've got a 30W JPT LP-E from BWM Tech and a 60W JPT M7 from Bogong CNC. I'd suggest posting on the fiber lasers Facebook group, describe your application there - facebook.com/groups/fiberlasers
Hello,
can I know the name of the machine? thank
It's a 60W JPT M7 laser - the system is from Bogong CNC
@@imajeenyus42 thank
Were you using any wobble?
Nope, just straightforward cutting. The material is thin enough (0.2mm) that you don't need any wobble.
How thick are your aluminum cards?
About 0.2mm with the paint
