Even in Jun's peaceful dream where they're one happy family, Jin and Kazuya still can't stop throwing hands. At least she's a realistic dreamer.
Both parents are strong fighters. It would be strange for Jin to not be one.
I can imagine even if Kazuya became a "good guy" he would still be a big condescending jackass to everyone, even to Jun and esp. to Jin. Kinda like Vegeta.

Trained fightera bonding over a friendly sparring session/parental training. Jun often sparred with Jin before Ogre ruined it all, which is how Jin was built up enough to train under Heihachi in Tekken 3.

Honestly, I don't think even half the fans wish this was the ending.
Thats exactly what I wanted to happen, but I think this might be the ending to Tekken in future projects since someone else has the devil gene Kazuya can go back to normal self (Assuming his not dead).

Jun is alive. She finds Kazuya unconscious at the end. As far as this family coming together being canon, the fact that there’s a G-Corp blanket on her at the end is a foreshadowing of this.

It’s just shoehorning her into the story and you’re literally under every Tekken video saying that Kazuya is gonna die etc. If you don’t like the character that’s cool, but unfortunately for you - he was the OG protagonist of Tekken and respectively the most popular Mishima in terms of character usage. Jun is the most wholesome character, is so sad to see her dream and hoping of a world where Jin and Kazuya become a real family, but is completely out of character for Kazuya... it makes sense that it will stay as a dream, never to become a reality
I like to imagine that Jun actually manage to make them meet together but probably it just both Jin and Kazuya sitting in the picnic table eating Jun Greean peas and Mushroom the whole time.
Kazuya was actually nice to jun at first in the old game you can see that jun wants to get rid of the devil gene and get back the kazuya she knew, so he does a good side somewhere deepdown, while he won't be a lovey dovey father, them becoming an actual familly isn't that farfetched if you know that kazuya isn't just someone that want to destroy everything initially.
speaking of dreams in Tekken, tag tournament two, if you can watch lars Alexandrason, ending all the Mishima and Kazama were having dinner together, they all ate the food except lars which he was dreaming
The thing is for a brief time Kazuya actually WAS a good person who loved Jun at one point.... it's just him being consumed by his hatred for his father and literally killing the good half of his soul(Angel) messed everything up

The only issue is that TEKKEN is so old, the lore has seen 1000 rewrites.

All comic or video game creators enjoy torturing us fans in this way.
The ending: It's like I was presented a cute puppy, only for it to be ripped in half in front of me.
The fight with Azazel: Then the puppy came back to life and destroyed the people who ripped it in half.

I'm just imagining a really intense story sequence where Jun, who has never been angry about anything at all, is fucking SEETHING at the sight of Azazel, knowing what his existence has done to Kazuya and Jin.
I gotta admit, Jun surprised me in this. Prior to her reveal for Tekken 8, I had always assumed that Jun's intimacy with Kazuya was just a fleeting moment of passion. I never thought a woman as righteous as her would have any true feelings for a man like Kazuya, but it's pretty apparent here that Jun is sincerely in love with Kaz and has a lot of affection for him.
Makes me think that maybe we've misjudged him all this time, hm? Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the party of believing that Kazuya was meant to be a classic heroic shoto who got corrupted over the years; he is and always has been evil. the manual of the *original* Tekken 1 confirmed as much. He was a villain from the start... The start of the main Tekken story, at least.
I think that in the canon, Kazuya was genuinely a good, pure hearted kid. But Heihachi's seemingly unjustified murder of his mother and him being tossed off the cliff combined with the activation of his Devil Gene likely set him on a path of vengeance, which only continued to guide him deeper and deeper into darkness. (Corny, but I'm not wrong haha)
Is that side of Kazuya completely dead, though? Again, I don't believe Kazuya is or ever was a hero or anti-hero. He's a true villain, through and through. But he might have some dimensions to him. Maybe there's still some good in him, and Jun saw that. That's the only reason I can imagine for a woman like her to love a man like him.
The tekken anime movie from the 90s was on the right path 👀
Kazuya might have reeled his evil desires if he spent longer time with her. Heihachi put a kabosh on that by throwing him to the volcano, then Ogre happened. When Kazuya came back, all he knew was that Jun was dead. So the only thing he had going is his ambition for world domination, now with nothing restraining him.
Jun really makes the difference by presence alone. And I think in the main story ending, she's going to make up for the lost time.
@@ChrisX_212 I think part of the reason why Jun was not successful is that she gave hope to Kazuya and that weakened his control over Devil, which lead to nearly dying against Heihachi? Just another moment that cemented in Kazuya's mind that weakness will just get him killed. If he survived and indeed had devil removed from him, it is entirely possible now for Kazuya to finally cultivate his better qualities without fearing growing weaker
the manual didn't say kazuya was evil only that he was cold blooded which he was....he was out for revenge and at the time sold his soul in order to get revenge and to survive being thrown off the cliff
If someone was trying to kill me and I ended up kiling them in self-defense, I don't consider that unjustified. I'm not gonna let that person kill me. 😂

My favorite thing about that is the sneakers come from a throwaway line in the original tekken manual for the characters likes and dislikes

Kazuya and Jin training together. Jun looking after them and also training with them too, of course. Jin and Kazuya having a healthy Father-Son rivalry. It'd be so beautiful. It's really nice to think about.

I know most people would think it's cringe cuz it's Tekken, but it rly would be wholesome if Kazuya and Jin got along. We'll see in Tekken 9, maybe they'll finally work together or something and have a healthy father-son bond

Even with how cruel he's been a part of me wants to believe that Kazuya doesn't hate his son. Kaz respects and values strength above all else, and both his woman and his boy have proven themselves to him.
well he hesitated for a second in their final fight, and he could’ve easily killed Jin at that point but he walked away instead🥹 I believe they’re (jun,kaz,jin) gonna team up in the next game to defeat Reina 🤞🏼
@@char4980 Well, they are doing story DLC so we might not even have to wait until the next game for something like that.
Maybe from his perspective, Kazuya poses himself as a challenge for Jin to overcome, but will not make it easy much like his own father before. It's the only way he knows.

It's likely this is set just before or just after the Tekken 8 ending you can go either the fact has G Corp branded stuff implies after but her looking Kazuya after waking up implies before because if it was after Kazuya likely KOed in that tent after the final fight maybe it was after the fight itself happening on Yakushima that woke up from 7 year power nap!! 😅

I think it's a hint that G-Corp is involved in her being alive and presumably dead for long time, note that Kazuya same as Jun was considered dead after Tekken 2 but was he was bring back to live by G-Corp. Kazuya intro with Jun also suggests he don't know that she is alive despite of being boss of G-Corp, not to mention story mode don't confirm her being alive (she only appears in Jins self reflecting dreams) other then her foot at the end near Kazuya and her intro in arcade mode saying that, so after story mode both Jin and Kazuya or technically most of the cast is unaware of her being alive. Jun death was main motor drive for Jin as character, so they neeeded a resolve for Jin first before showing Jun back, might be why so still secretive about it.

It can still happen, but since Reina signifies that she going after Kazuya, this means we will finally a redemption arc for him this time. Kazuya is the only Mishima besides Reina that didn't get a redemption arc yet.
Reina is the only Mishima who still worships their father. She'll be the daddy little girl villain type try to make his ambition come true.

Many, me included, thought they are reconnecting the events of T6 but Harada surprised us all by making it the focal plot element.

I hope my man Kazuya gets his redemption for the next installment. I respect the direction the Tekken series took making the main character in Tekken 1 (Kazuya) a villain. But after all these years I just some calm and peace for Kazuya and the Mishima family. Hopefully we’ll see Kazuya and Jin fighting together against a greater evil. Kazuya has been through a lot and didn’t deserve all the bad things Heihachi did to him, so yeah he’s a redeemable character for sure.
It'll just take work. A LOOOOOT of work.
And even after his redemption, we gotta reconcile father and son.
I've always said that even World Domination wouldn't interest him... I think Kaz lives a life understanding that someone always wants to kill him because that's always been his life since childhood. He even died at some point.
After all that, his dad, son and mom wanted to kill him... Sounds like his ultimate outcome is being left alone

You know that ending kind of made me tear I mean Tekkens been a part of my life ever since I was a kid and played Tekken Tag 1 obviously I was so invested in the game that I revisited the older Tekkens and have been following it to this day. This hit me because Ive been a Jin Main for as long as I could remember and Jin’s story is fucked up lost his mom at a young age ,got betrayed by his grandfather and also hated by his father he’s been through the gutter and then seeing every one smile made me smile all bonding together made me believe it’s all over the feud is no more for it to just be a dream at the end . Nice one Tekken you got me 👏🏼
I like to think that all three of their endings are connected. Like after Jun visiting them in their endings she has this dream OR she has this dream, wakes up and eventually goes to Jin and Kazuyas endings in hopes that her dream comes true someday (only saying this so that Kazuyas hobby of collecting sneakers can be canon)

I think she might be up to something because we what we saw in the story mode, Kazuya, Jun and Jin might have to work together as a team to handle this situation.
if someone dont understand it. Jin inherited the "good side" of his father Kazuya, that side is an spiritual angelical entity called "Angel".
But Jin's resentiments to his father and Ogre for kill his mom turn him to an spiritual devil entity called "Devil" from "Devil Jin".

If only we got an alternative story if Kazuya (hell even Heihachi) being a father to Jin
The closest thing we got was Heihachi supposedly presenting himself as a kindly grandfather to Jin before Tekken 3, but alas, he was only using him to lure out Ogre.
The G-Corp blanket means Kazuya’s agents found her before Jin got there. She might’ve been told to evacuate the island and camp elsewhere in the meantime.
Seeing Kazuya as a nice, smilng dad is as weird as Batman laughing.
I reject any notion of Heihachi being the "good guy". Forever in my heart, Kazuya is the best and most strong of the Mishimas, he is released from the Devil gene, as is Jin and Jun no longer struggles with her dark side (that creepy wolf thing from Tekken Tag). It's time that Kazuya be the rough, arrogant demanding father made softer by his gentle, loving and caring wife. Lars needs to be brought in and trained in Juns fighting style, feeling closer to Mama Jun, Papa Kaz and Jin need to rebuild their relationship and Lee Chaolen needs to be the main bad guy, while the newly remade and honor-redeemed Mishima-Kazama clan pay respects to Jinpachis grave and piss on Heihachi's tombstone.
The main bad guy would be Reina tho. Even in T2, Lee followed Kazuya because he failed to take Mishima Zaibatsu due to losing on the first tournament, and Heihachi beat him in the second one.
When he founded Violet Systems, never did he try to conquer the world or something. He once wanted to take Mishima Zaibatsu again in the fifth tournament but lost interest due to neither Kazuya nor Heihachi organized that tournament. All he did was creating high tech products, funding anti-Mishima campaigns (including Lars' Yggdrasil) then helped Jin in T7 afterwards.
@alviedoyuda4354 Yeah but I don't like him. Lee makes a good enemy that Jin and Kazuya can hate together. And he deserves a bigger role.
It’s so weird yet heartening to hear a genuine good natured laugh from Kazuya.

She was never dead, Jin thought she was dead because he didn’t know she was put into a coma after beating Ogre inside a sanctuary.

After defeating Ogre in the forbidden shrine, she falls into a spiritual stasis: her body falls unconscious and her spirit is trapped in some kind of astral dimension (hence the only way she's been able to communicate with Jin)

Ngl I'm kinda frustrated, we waited like 27 years for her to return to the main series, and all we get was visions of her in Jin's mind, and a 5 second shot of her foot in the real world. Like c'mon, she's been gone for so long, they should've made the real her participate in the main story already. I'm afraid we'll have to wait 10 years for Tekken 9 to actually see the real Jun and Jin reunite.
If that's the case then she's probably still dead irl.

After seeing Reina can transform into devil form and Harada himself confirming that Heihachi has 25 child. Maybe the prophecy is about someone else. It is clear its one of the Mishima but I don't think Kaz and Jin are THE GREAT EVIL. Even in the epiloge of T8, we see Jun save Kaz and Jin is happy. What do you guys think ? 🤔

No it’s more likely that it takes place after the credits where she take kazuya, but at some point he leaves her
He didn´t leave her, she is wearing GCorp blanket... probably Kaz gave it to her. Why would she wear anything from GCorp if not from Kaz? Jin is suppose to be the owner of Mishima Zaibatsu now

I doubt he would leave her. In Kazuya's ending it's shown that he actually does love Jun

Maybe kazuya is in the tent recovering still from the final fight with jin, and Jun is just looking after him.
I don't know why but I always made weird connection with Kazuya, Vegeta, Kaiba..these characters have something like a magnetic force that makes them likable even if they have that pride and toughness along with being a jackass most of the times. And somehow you apreciate their good deeds more than other characters because most of the time they are bad and hurting their own friends or just people in general. Just my opinion..
I know in tekken 9 Jun will try to convince kazuya and jin to be family and stay happy and in end kazuya and jin will agree 👍
I really hope they get reunited in Tekken 9 for real this time.

Jun's ending was very bittersweet. It's nice to see her, Jin, and even Kazuya being a normal, functional family. However, it was all but a dream in Jun's head

Nah bro the Mishimas being a healthy loving family was something I needed in my life, even if it was just a dream. Like honestly you’d think people would have the mindset of “nah I want the feud to keep going otherwise there’s no story and it’s boring if they’re not fighting” but honestly I genuinely want them to be happy and just love eachother😭
