Its hard to fathom the goal at 4:40 being real in a high rank competitive match
being high rank or not doesnt change shit, backboard wasn't cover, he took the opportunity. What is amazing is the way he does it and how fearless he is thanks to his confidence
@@akfangit does change everything. In high rank wall is pretty much always cover wich he has less attempts to try to score a goal like that
It's the beginning of the saison, it's not to denigrate but against pro it would never have been a goal
He did it so fast and sometimes the backboard can't be covered even in SSL games, they was losing 4-0 btw, but no doubt is an awesome goal

Yo, 5:24-5:32. That whole sequence leading up to the goal … that kinda skill shouldn’t even be legal. He PREFLIPPED to a wall pinch with the back of his car going in the opposite direction he wanted the ball to go, which was a PERFECT setup for a still relatively hard tight angle shot!

The last goal of the first game [05:26] is even more incomprehensible for me.. It reminds me a little of he's final goal at worlds... How does he even start to think that he can control that ball from here???
@@albanbecquet238 I agree. I'll also add that he has incredible understanding of when/where to preflip in order to manipulate the ball to go where he wants. Figuring out on the fly when you can and should preflip opens up SOOOOO many more opportunities to score (as we just saw at 05:26 . Knowing how to preflip is important in high levels right now, but eventually in upcoming years it'll become something more understood as a core and fundamental aspect for everybody to learn. Zen is just ahead of everybody with some parts of his game

It looks like that because of ball cam. If you watch closely, he uses his flick at the moment it’ll give him super sonic. That’s where all the power comes from.

I barely always watch a RL play and sincerely go "WTF...How do you do that?!"..but 4:36 will do it.I saw the pass from Kash, which was so strong and close to the goal...and I couldn't fathom someone actually being able to control that and score in that way xD And then Zen did it.

I see a lot of players/teams forfeiting when playing against Zen, I would 100% take every single match with him all the way, learn as much as possible from him. I'd specifically seek him out.
That's what all french players did with kaydop, especially monkeymoon and radosin

0:45 are we not gonna talk about how he reset and jumped off the ball then used his second jump to get the second reset? That was insane
I'm pretty sure that's not what happened. It looks like he used his flip from the wall to flip into the ball for the first reset, causing him to bounce off the ball. If he had jumped off the ball there would be a lot more downward acceleration, instead of him floating in the air like the clip.

The parts that are the craziest, to me, is the plays where he's going away from the goal to catch the ball that is heading either 90 degrees from the net or back towards his own goal somewhat but then can turn it around and score still

I can definitely say Zen is a monster and probably the most mechanical. But ball iq wise, I think players like Apparently Jack definitely plays smarter. It seems like he has higher control and speed, but lower ball iq. Yes he's so good that his control and overall speed makes up for it

i dont think he necessary has the 'best' mechanics, its just that hes perfected all of the key and basic mechanics to a level that no one has ever seen before, also his game sense and reactions are unreal

As Jack said, he has the best mechanics and is the smartest. His consistency matched with his decision making is just on another level right now compared to everyone else.
@@noname-inspiration because you don't have to be able to score a triple flip reset musty double touch every shot to have the best mechanics, I personally would say that some freestylers have better mechanics but they aren't as consistent
@@nemzrll they don't have better mechanics. First of all, consistency of mechanics is still mechanics. Secondly, when we discuss best mechanics, we only mean relevant mechanics. Idc what random stuff you can do in freeplay, if you can't use it in a game, it doesn't count

Zen utilizes the consummate mechanics when competing on a orginized/compettive scene. It’s arduous to conceptualize this gameplay and ability. But I presume this is just quintessential Zen 🤷♂️
