i know this is meant to be a protective measure for women, but i think if you are dating and considering marriage… evaluate your reasons for marriage and what partner you specifically want if you feel like you can never share your past traumas with your partner. Having strong boundaries and prioritizing self-wellness and awareness will prevent individuals from staying in relationships with men who use their trauma against them. Because someone who has the capacity to do that, is likely also showing other red flag behaviors.

Just goes to show you, no matter how successful or beautiful a woman can be the need to be loved and wanted will toss all good sensibilities out the way
Like I did with the Wendy Williams story (which RRG pinned), I'm going to go in another direction with this. When a woman is HEALTHY, she will not even entertain BS for one second! Kendu capitalized on Mary's insecurities BECAUSE he KNEW that she was insecure. When a man KNOWS that you have high self-esteem and will not think twice about kicking him to the curb if he doesn't see her worth, he is more likely to treat you better. The fact that Kendu was verbally abusive AND slanging his 🍆 all over the place shows that he NEVER loved Mary and just wanted to use Mary. It is well known that Mary was in an abusive relationship with KC. Too many women (and men) are quick to jump into a relationship when they should be alone, HEALING THEMSELVES. If a woman does not love herself, she will get rid of one abusive man and replace him with another BECAUSE she does not love, respect, or value herself.
Ladies, if you find that you are attracted to men that verbally, physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually abuse you, PLEASE end this relationship and get THERAPY. Therapy will help you to clearly see the ROOT of your unconscious attraction to abusers. I wish Mary and peace, love, and happiness to you all! Remember: You DO NOT need to be in a relationship with another person to value yourself. When you love yourself, you model for others how they SHOULD treat you. The moment that a man disrespects you, you won't think twice about kicking him to the curb.

That wasnt love, it was dependency syndrome. Ive learned not to get into serious relationships when vulnerable. My view of things is very different once im healed and over something. Also, dont " fall in love" with an assumption. For example, You assume he is a good guy because he is a quiet guy or something. Been there done that and he was worse than my previous ones.🤦♀️

What happened to Mary J. Bilge in her former marriage, shows that it is VERY important to make sure you are happy and healed BEFORE you date. Mary should have addressed her depression and the trauma that she went through with a therapist BEFORE she got in a relationship so that she could see the users and abusers coming before they even speak to her. I can easily sense evil in a man because I am more happier and healed than I used to be. Plus, when you are happy and healed while single, you'll naturally have higher standards when it comes to men and you'll naturally attract more happier and healed men who are empathetic. Users and abusers lack empathy, so having an empathetic partner is very important.
