When Goku and Vegeta got absorbed by Super Buu and released their friends, they also released plus sized Buu, which is why he became Kid buu.
Yeah, the only good in him came from a different person. Even Yujiro has a tiny bit, but not Kid Buu.

@@gemigisteve5947 typical dumb fan...doesn't realize characters people like aka sasuke hiei itachi vegeta ichigo and other villians would be far less popular appealing as characters without their plot over done powers which aren't realistic......on their own their pretty bad characters..this is why battle shounen anime gets a bad wrap and why it's harder to write engaging non powerful characters that appeal to real sensibilities rules that other animes create even if they aren't meant to last or develop over time like shounen battle characters as you grow with them...their powers and new ones are what keeps people engaged
She would love how this fight ends...goku gets his power wished back by the dragonballs thanks to dende king kai supreme kai yama and old kai...and the namekians and earthlings give their power to goku which includes someone stronger than goku in the cast aka gohan and all the other strong z fighters for the first time lending their shared power to the spirit bomb which is pretty op to go with goku power...kid boo literay was killed by plot...he was op af

As for why Fat Buu showed up to fight Kid Buu, it was because Fat Buu was friends with Mr. Satan that Kid Buu had a hard time hurting him so he literally spit Fat Buu out so that he can fully whoop Mr. Satan's ass.

My favorite thing about dragon ball are the villains. All these other shows and anime are always like "Here is this really powerful bad guy! But don't worry, he's only bad because he had a rough childhood, and as it turns out he isn't all that different from the main character :D" But DBZ Villains were just "Yeah i'm evil, I like killing people. Do something about it"

I mean I personally think one dimensional villains are kinda boring but they have their place for sure and dbz villains are iconic even if most of them are sorta the same in terms of goals
@@gliizee Dr. Gero was definitely more main of a villain than Janemba and Broly, not in strength but in relevance to the plot he far surpasses them
Even if Chi-Chi could cut off his antenna, he would just grow it back and then kill her for cutting it off in the first place, instead of simply letting the pink monster Alone which is what she should have done in the first place.
Chi chi was mad that her son she thought died for the first time was killed by this thing..she never faced a villian in z or at all before besides seeing jr fight goku....this is the first time she was involved really

I know we joke about how bad of a dad Goku is, but all jokes aside, he isn't as bad as people say he is. He did spend a lot of time with Gohan before the start of Z, but it didn't last when Piccolo kills Goku. Also, the reason he was absent between the Cell and Buu Sagas was that he felt like his mere existence always put his family and the Earth in danger, which he wasn't wrong. Sure, there are moments where he has done a few questionable things as a father but I won't say it makes him an overall horrible dad.
And Piccolo is more of a big brother cause he beats up Gohan to toughen him up is there for support he's more the Brother/Mentor figure than anything

When Buu originally caused havoc ...he absorbed one of the kai's...and some of the kai's have some form of God Ki so.... technically Majin Buu was doggin everyone with similar powers to Dragon Ball Super

He got stronger but because he adopts peoples personality when he absorbs people the kindness of the Kai’s weakened his bloodlust. He was stronger but just wasn’t as evil as he used to be.
@@Broomer52 well, yes and no. He lost the power of the Buff Kai, but he became stronger than he was originally. But Z Kid Buu was stronger than Fat Buu, because Kid Buu basically took the God Ki but removed the kindness.
Also, I say he lost Buff Kai powers because when Super Buu was getting Buff, they said his power was rising rapidly, but then they commented that it began to decrease before he turned into Kid Buu
Goku died before Goten was born, he didn’t meet him until the beginning of the arc
Chi-Chi slaps Buu as he's the guy who seemingly killed Gohan her son(oldest and first child btw), every DragonBall fan knows how overprotective Chi-Chi was towards Gohan when he was a kid so hearing your son who fought in life and death battles since he was 4 years old, died is gonna be traumatic, heartbreaking, and anger inducing (towards the person who did it) to a mother no matter how overbearing she is.
Let’s be honest though, Chi Chi always thought she was a bad b*tch, and she was super annoying for it, so her getting Egged was my favorite MC death in DBZ.
If there is one thing that Chi Chi is not, it's scary. She's never backed down from an opp in front of her.

Funny thing about that. Until the end of the Cell Saga DBZ was a good bit more tame, reasonable, and not as cracked. However by the time the Cell Saga ended it made DBZ insanely popular and made Toei a shit ton of money. So they went to Toriyama and basically went:
"Okay, your series is more popular and profitable than it's ever been. You can do whatever the hell you want now, editor be damned."
So then Toriyama took off his authorial & illustrative limiters, opened all eight gates, and that resulted in the unchecked madness that is Buu Saga.
You're halfway right cuz the fans were also complaining that dbz ended at cell saga and they wanted Goku back. That's how we got the Buu saga also fun fact if u didn't already know Buu was based off genies. But the trend of wanting more dbz content is why the people complain about dbs so much, the fans wanted more content than intended so the series plot got progressively worse to pump out more content with some exceptions

Honestly i just enjoyed the show and love every character on the show no biasness but in my opinion as per youtube comments go among db fans goku get unnecessary hate and people tend to forget his contribution to the show atleast newer generations(its my humble opinion though

Yeah... the old joke stands true. "Don't mess with Dragon Ball fans, we didn't watch the show." A lot of the current fan base only knows about DB through TFS, who started the Goku is a bad dad thing as a joke (though they later started to believe their own narrative). If you actually watch the anime or read the manga, Goku was a great dad who was there for his sons as much as he could be when he wasn't dead, and actually spent _more_ time with Gohan than Piccolo did before sacrificing himself against Cell.

@@Michaeljefferson9000 that being said, Goku also had a poor understanding of Gohan's personality and boundaries. Goku's greatest flaw IS how carefree and innocent he is. He makes some rash decisions, and it often results in other people around him dealing with the consequences.
In that avenue, I understand the claims that Goku isn't a great dad. There is a large amount of bandwagoning on the claim though, and those people are the ones that only watched TFS.
Piccolo isn't much better, but, Piccolo sacrifices himself for Gohan as well. He really did come to really care for Gohan like family, and that's honestly pretty damn cool. Add onto that the fact that Piccolo is one of the relatively cooler characters of the series, due to relying on tactics for a large part of the series, and you can see why people end up favoring him over Goku.
Either way though, Piccolo is more of a Role Model for Gohan clearly. Which, makes sense. Piccolo trained him after all, and instilled in him his mindset.
But Goku is still his dad.

Honestly, GT did have good parts (Super Saiyan 4 being in the top 3) but the Kid Goku version was irritating.
It's funny how people forget how terrifying Kirby is. Aside from him just vacuum-eating you, he can get power-ups from nearly anything in his environment, has canonically punched a planet so hard he nearly split it in half, and has beaten multiple gods.
I honestly enjoyed the hell out of the first arc of GT where Pan, Trunks and Goku were just traveling the galaxy searching for the dragon balls it reminded me of old school dragonball and the worlds and places they went to were all pretty interesting and cool. The Baby arc was also a cool ass idea but I think the execution was kinda wack and same for the dragon ball dragons arc.

Yes piccolo is his master, but it is because of Goku sacrifice that piccolo had a change of heart, and decided to be Gohan's Teacher. I mean its the least Piccolo could do, because hes the one who killed Gohans father. Plus you need to explain to your wife why saiyans like strong will women. ChiChi has a very strong will. When she gets mad, nobody can stop her, not to mention she one of the strongest female martial artist on the planet.

Weird to me how people call goku a bad father. He missed a portion of gohan’s childhood because he literally died protecting him lol then after he came back to life, he went into a coma, spent a year with gohan, then died a second time to protect his son again 💀 goku was only absent in gohan’s childhood because he gave his life to save him
I never understood why people call piccolo Gohan "real dad" when he is more like a big brother. Also because he is like 5 years older then Gohan when you think about it.

So Toriyama went, "Fine. One more saga, but I'm going to throw every crazy thing I can think of into it so no complaining!"
And afterward he stepped away from Dragonball and didn't write anything related to it again. Until some moron in holywood decided to make Dragonball Evolution, which was so bad Toriyama decided to write a dragonball movie as a palate clenser.

Fat Buu is the embodiment of of Kid Buu good side, basically if they never took him out Buff Buy would have stayed Buff and beatable or that's my theory at least lol
Fat buu is the good that came from buff buu absorbing the grand Supreme kai, fat buu had the grand Supreme kai and the south kai in him, when he expelled evil buu, evil buu absorbed him and became super buu, when they took their friends out, of they had left fat buu in, it would have been back to super buu, taking fat buu out leaves only to original buu, aka kid buu

GT didn't reset Goku, he was turned back into a kid after Pilaf used the Black Star Dragonballs.

Honestly I love this arc for its insanity. I didn't have cartoon network as a kid so I had to read the manga and it was hilarious watching others think that cell was the ultimate baddy when this dude was just around the corner about to just destroy everyone.
Evil or Majin Buu absorbed Fat Buu and when Goku and Vegeta were inside Buu when they got absorbed after turning into a candy. They rescued everyone and Fat Buu as well. Don’t know why but yeah
My best guess as to why they rescued Fat Buu is that despite killing people he didn’t know any better and just did it since Babidi told him too. Like a new born child capable for nuking an entire city and it’s parents telling him to kill people for fun.

To explain the whole Fat Buu-Kid Buu bit, it is similar to the Piccolo-Kami situation. Fat Buu - the relatively good Buu - expelled his evil essence, which turned into Evil Buu. The latter ate the former, and took his power for his own, becoming Super Buu. However, while Kami turned into soul energy and reunited with Piccolo to become the Super Namek, Fat Buu retained his physical body, within Super Buu. In the end, they were two separate beings.

They then split into Goku and Vagita and found everyone trapped inside Super Buu including Fat Buu and let him out too because Fat Buu was the good part of Super Buu and thought that would weaken him they were wrong it made him revert to his true form that's basically what happened

Piccolo did NOT raise Gohan - he trained him for literally less than a calender year after Goku died. Gohan never left Goku's side for the first five (four in the correct translation) years of his life until Goku sacrificed his life. Flew all the way across the galaxy the second he was healed from the Vegeta fight to save Gohan. Trained Gohan for 3 years and was a family man (welcome, Goten) until he sacrificed his life for Gohan AGAIN.
It would be amazing if skitten watched the abridged version of Z so she can actually enjoy it while not constantly complain about the original source material's plot points and just have fun

I mean Goku does multiple things that are bad parentally and is generally pretty selfish at times, he after beating cell up and right after his son enters the ring give the man who his son is about to fight a sensu bean, which literally everyone called him out for, and while I don't often blame him for being for not being there sometimes because he's normally dead, there are plenty of times in which he didn't know he had to fight and trained anyways, and even piccolo who trains normally is actually there for Gohan, Goku generally isn't a great father, and while chi chi is alot, her being possessive makes sense due to the fact that her husband keeps getting himself killed, and endangering her children.

To be fair the only reason I can think of for Goku to have children is the fact that Chi-Chi told him that sex was a different type of training. Other than that I don't see it actually having happened in any other way since we see that in dragon Ball super he didn't even know what a kiss was despite having been married and have two children.

In the original Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z series, Majin Buu WAS the final villain. That's how Akira Toriyama ended the manga, but Toei continued the series with Dragon Ball GT, which Toriyama had little to no part of beyond several character designs. Then of course, GT ended, and that was it for Dragon Ball. It was about 15 years until Toriyama and Toei released the Battle of Gods movie, and Ressurection "F" right after. And right after that we got Dragon Ball Super, and I think you know the rest.

A couple of things I have to bring up:
Goku has not been a bad father to both Gohan and Goten. Goku has been there for Gohan for a good portion of his life, has saved Gohan's life more times than Piccolo did, and even died for Gohan more than Piccolo did. Goku was even a main reason Gohan beat Cell as he trained Gohan, helped motivate Gohan when he was giving up, and was there in spirit to help Gohan destroy Cell. Not to mention that he and Goten spent time together during the Buu arc and afterwards. Goku may not be the best father, but he isn't a bad father to either of his sons.
Piccolo is not Gohan's dad. Goku is Gohan's dad. Piccolo may be a good father figure to Gohan, but he still didn't raise Gohan, and he's the one who forced Gohan to be a fighter when he didn't want to be one. People tend to ignore or forget that.
Also, while it was stupid of Chichi to slap Super Buu, she did it because she was angry about what happened to her son Gohan, who she thought was killed by Buu. She was brave, yet stupid.
Not to mention that Chichi does care about Goku, hence why she had 2 sons with him.
Part of the thing that annoys me is that this "bad dad" thing mostly came from the Abridged series which is supposed to be a comedic take of DBZ and not be taken literal.

People say Goku’s a bad father but Goku didn’t even get a chance to know what Gohan liked because HE WAS DEAD FOR FIVE YEARS, before Goku died all Gohan could barely formulate sentences properly. The only time Goku and Gohan could actually bond was after the fight against the saiyans, WHEN HiS BONES WERE SHATTERED which was only like a week, and when Goku and Gohan had to train for the androids which was only a year. Then Goku died from cell’s suicide bomb and stayed dead for seven years because he believed all of earths threats came because of him, so in hindsight Goku could’ve even form a bond with his own son because threats were always around the corner.

To answer buu questions basically kid buu is the purest version and he is pure chaos and evil, after absorbing 2 kai's (a buff one and a fat one) he turns into fat Buu who bibidi(kid buus controller kinda) deemed as worthless cuz fat Buu didn't listen so he put him to sleep, fast forward to the Hercule scene y'all were right his evil half split from the good then he consumed him creating super Buu. Super Buu absorbed Gotenks,piccolo, Gohan, and more I think but when Goku and Vegeta removed the people Buu absorbed from his body buuhan(Buu Gohan absorbed) reverted to his weaker and more primitive kid buu form. It's a common misconception in dbz that the final form of the villain is the strongest but that's not the case for kid buu, he was dangerous because he was unhinged and unpredictable while buuhan was stronger but also Fairly logical and capable of critical thought. During the final fight fat Buu was in kid buus mind stopping him from killing Hercule so kid buu spit him out and that's how he got there. I know it's a lot to read but I didn't know if anyone else explained it yet
