      I think most of the pro tools plugins are great. A lot of them where coded by genius programmers who went on to work for other companies like waves etc.

    I always limit at -6db peak but not sure...

    • @superwassou
      @superwassou Год назад +1

      This is a personal choice.
      Mine are around -18 db.
      The only thing is a matter of a SUBJECTIVE balance, equilibrium.

      @@superwassou -18 is not too low ? When you compress after, how it sound ?

    • @superwassou
      @superwassou Год назад

      @@BigLoxxOfficial in the digital realm the noise level is very low so no need to record very hot.
      Plus with analog simulations it seems that most pluggings that I use have their sweet spot around -18db.

    • @JorgeGonzalez9501
      @JorgeGonzalez9501 Год назад +4

      I also aim to have vocals peak around -15 to -18db AFTER processing. When you’re mastering and if you choose to aim for -10 to -8 LUFS it’ll bring those vocals to around -6db. It really just depends on how many LUFS you’re aiming for. It’s always better to to record low for more even vocals and to avoid distortion. You can always increase the volume with low vocals but you want be able to with loud ones
