Aircraft, even european made aircraft operating with french licence use standarda, now a company might decide tonask boeing or airbus to use metrics in it, but it reduce the resale value by a lot. there are certains metric bolts in the planes, but i can count them with my hand. and i mean one hand, for example the side window handle bearing nuts on the e145 use a 22mm, and even in the maintenance manual it warns you that it is a 22mm because its so weird. no other bolts in the entire aircraft has theyre size described in the manual. the ceiling on the atr 42 and 72 is a #3 allan key. but other than that all standards and im so glad of it. no need to buy two set of everything
@@xaviergodard9066 the having to buy two sets of everything is why I don’t like it. Metric sizes also move forward in smaller increments so a complete set has more sockets and costs more. It’s really a bad deal
