I’m confused by some of these videos I’m seeing. Captains chairs have arm rests on both sides of the seats. Those are not captains chairs in this video and van.
I'd like the Honda Odyssey, but need the leg rests for our 6ft teen in the Sienna and or to just take a nap while traveling or hanging at baseball tournaments.

The bench seat in the KIA Carnival is better than the seat in the Toyota Sienna.
In USA versions of the Carnival if you pop out a plastic retainer in the middle row sliders you can turn ALL the middle seats backwards.

If we have a 3rd we are probably going for a Sienna or Carnival. Reliability/resale value worries me in the KIA, but we will see.
JD Power rates KIA above Toyota and Honda now for reliability. Thinking KIA isn’t reliable is not accurate

Can you the sunroof model with bench seats?
Yes you can, we did the SX prestige with the bench row. You just have to search through dealerships to find it in inventory.
For the 2024 model yes, I think for the 2022 model year it wasn't possible.
