I know this is a daft question, but I am a total newbie. When the betting gets back to the big blind, if he checks, is that the end of the betting round, or is it possible for the "Under the Gun player to continue the betting round by raising?
This would be the first type of poker I've ever heard of thanks to the fact ESPN used to televise the World Series of Poker. (Do they still air that, by the way?)
When a player folds does this exclude him from the rest of the game or does he/she still get to compare hand value with other’s at the end of the game (win the bets)?
Another quick one for a novice. Are only five cards available to make your poker hand. For instance, if the board is say a flush, and more than one player claims that flush, is the pot split, or can a sixth (hole) card be the kicker?
i’m confused at what happens when a player goes all in? does the hand keep going or is the person who just went all in out of the game bc he ran out of chips to bet?

You're supposed to burn one BEFORE you deal?????? I never knew that

A player that folds is excluded and doesn't get to compare hands at the end.
FOR THE HAND, NOT THE WHOLE GAME

Only five cards can be used. The pot is split if there is a tie.

If he doesn't win the hand he's out. Some tables will let you buy more chips some won't.

You forgot royal flush
Poker💸♠️♦️♥️♣️
next should be how to play pusoy and pusoy dos
Can u play with two people
Yes
Why not?
Whoever folds first loses so its generally not played with 2 people.
Think you’re missing a “ royal flush “
You forgot royal flush, even though it's really uncommon.
I was thinking, isn't a royal flush just a straight flush with an Ace high?
A royal flush is a straight flush. Just like a full house is also called a boat. An ace high straight flush is called a royal flush.
In real life it’s called poker not trying to be rude 😁
TEXAS HOLD EM IS A TYPE OF POKER STUPID, DUMB, IDIOT AND MORON
