damn tom, i have a tremendous amount of respect for your builds and work. this is icing on the cake. after all the manipulation to this car... IT STILL SOUNDS LIKE A MUSTANG.
You can run whatever type of gasoline/ethanol etc. that you want. Adjust the timing for different fuels, and fuel pressure is automatically raised per psi of boost anyway with Octane On Demand, the engine has dual injectors per cylinder. Alot of people choose to run premium pump gas in one tank, and race gas in the other, but you could do premium in one and e-85 in the other, or e-85 in both, that's not a matter of the engine, it's a matter of what kind of fuel is available in your area.

This video is mostly of the street test, but if you can't see the innovation here, you're blind as a bat. Look up "Code Red REDUX" for everything in-depth. NRE made like 150 one-off parts for this build, and this was four years ago, it doesn't even have their new turbos, which are proven to see gains of almost 100 hp at the same boost level of an equivalently sized turbonetics etc. turbocharger, and even then, Nelson stated the engine was capable of over 1,500 hp and 8,000+ rpm.

SVRE also makes a killer BBF, they have a video up of a 482 BBF spinning 9,500 rpm on the dyno, over 1,000 hp all motor.
@THEMASTEROFYOU2000 actualy the 5.4 supercharged package came out in 05 and was called the gt500. in 99 when the cobra r came out they were planning on supercharging it but the idea was put off since the plan for the new body style was hitting the drawling boards.
@IEVLV8 the airlocker locks up the rear end all the way, LSD's dont work real well at 1000 rwhp. the valet switch makes it so the valet doesnt get to play with your 1000 rwhp car... by perminately opening the blow off valves for the turbo system.

what is the air locker? and the valet switch? what are they for?
i like the idea of gear based boost control, but the twin tank system also cool but could be odd, coz race gas here is aus costs heaps could it be setup to run primary on 91 and the secondary on 98?
i usually hate ford but this is a machine love the work credit where credit is due WELL DONE
Apparently, Tom Nelson's operation is premiere in the hot rod world. Personally, I do prefer Hot Rod Fords. I am also a fan of Jon Kaase the king of BBFord motors hands down (no competition).

@ 2:10 4 cam per cylinder. Which doesn't say how many valves it has per cylinder 4 valves, 6 valves or even 8 valves. Could all be powered by 4 cams.
Unless he means cam shafts which would make it very special indeed per cylinder

A little confused how it made 1100 at the flywheel but also makes 1100 at the wheels..lol..Maybe a boost change before the chassis dyno is all I can think of.

On 91 Octane, 22.9 ib.s of Boost = 1109HP @ 6200 RPM and 1062 ft. ib.s @ 4800 RPM...Now at Shelby Automobiles in house dyno: 22 PSI, at the rear wheels: 1112.14HP and 976.25 ft. ib.s of torque at the rear wheels! All that power and more on a Modified Twin Turbo 2007 Shelby GT500 which comes with 500HP from the Ford Factory! Hope that Helps and God Bless!
BTW...This engine makes 1200HP on a combination of Pump Gas and Race Gas 50/50 mix and 1400HP at it Peak!
I'm confused, thought it would be putting more power than this down. Hellion put a little over 1000 to the ground with the twin turbos on the factory motor,or is this a really conservative setting.

ford focus is not a car meant for racing its an econmy car meant to get 30+mpg

sooooo, Ford is supposed to be making a "Voodoo" engine as the new top of the line engine for 2015 mustangs....its supposed to be between 5.0-5.5 L (maybe back to 5.4?) and turbo charged. It is supposed to be vastly more powerful and a bit more fuel efficient than the 5.8L Trinity engine.....hopefully this is what that "Voodoo" engine will be like

1 NRE needs to invest in a camera mount, around $10 on Amazon.com.
2 Why not just run water injection or alcohol, a lot cheaper than racing gas for controlling detonation.

I was giving some advice, he's selling very top dollar stuff, what does half ass video say about that? At best what I see is a show builder that can smoke the tires. Now if he had good stable video throughout maybe some vbox telemetry I would believe the true go potential. Most fast cars tend to be drama free.

Can't believe I'm defending a GT-R but, do you have any clue how fast a modded GT-R can be? No drama either, not going to touch that with anything with 4 wheels and 2 wheel drive. Not to mention losing a 1/4 second every shift. Just check out the AMS Alpha Omega, 1500HP running 8.2@185 mph from a twin turbo 4L V6.

No doubt...if your serious about racing you have to drop the manual transmission..they are fun to play around in but @ this kind of power forget it. There is a old chevy nova on Ytube that runs in the 6's as a street car but it has a Lenco 4 speed..traps @ over 200MPH. No clutch pedal just grab the individual gear levers and kiss your ass goodbye.

Why would you talk up a GT-R, trapping 185 mph with all wheel drive and they can't even get out of the 8's? That's actually pretty pathetic, what's the point of AWD if you're wasting damn near a full second off the line with that much power? RWD will always be better for everything except offroad rally
